The Mel Robbins Show will not return next fall. The daytime talk show has been canceled. The series will finish out its one and only season though, so viewers can keep tuning in to watch the series until then.
Sony Pictures TV said the following about the cancellation of The Mel Robbins Show:
“The Mel Robbins Show will continue production as planned and deliver original episodes for the entire season, however it will not be returning for season two. Mel has had a positive impact on millions of daytime viewers and we still strongly believe in her message and the work she is doing. We are proud of the show and the talented team and thank our partners and launch group at Nexstar, and our advertisers and sponsors, for their exceptional support.”
Robbins also has her own words to share about the decision to end the series after one season, per The Hollywood Reporter:
“It was a privilege to have a platform on television to fight for everyday people. I am so proud of the show we created because it serves as a lifeline and daily resource for viewers who are struggling and want more out of their lives. I end every show by saying, ‘I believe in you and your ability to change,’ and with or without this show, I mean it.”
This fall, shows featuring Drew Barrymore and Nick Cannon will join the daytime talk show ranks.
What do you think? Do you watch The Mel Robbins Show? Are you sad that the show has been canceled?
Much better than what’s on now. If you were lucky you had a chance to watch the show. Why was the show cancelled?
Maybe she was a deplorable or part of the Wal-Mart trash or a white systemic racist. I don’t know but you certainly do!!!
TRAGIC !!! We all lost ‘ A Most Wonderful Talk Show ‘ by a Well Educated Talk Show Host in ‘ Mel Robbins ‘ …..
Please bring her back !!!
We miss her ‘ Terribly ‘ !!!!!!
Mel Robbins show was one of the best shows ever on TV. There’s so much junk and garbage out there and we FINALLY had something good, positive and informational on everyday subjects. Why would you just drop her show when she was such a positive asset…what a stupid move on your part.
I’m so sad to see this show go. I found her show so inspirational and started my day a good note. Now we have more of the same on tv. I hope and pray someone with a brain puts her back on.
I agree. It started my day off on a positive note. Why in the world did you dump the show? It was a great show. Stupid move on your part.
I WAS MOST SADDENED AND DISAPPOINTED TO LEARN THAT MEL WAS CANCELLED. THAT WAS THE ONLY SHOW THAT I LOOKED FORWARD TO WATCHING EVERY DAY. HER RESEARCHED AND POWERFUL PERSONAL ADVICE STRUCK A COMMON CHORD, REVEALING HOPE AND ENCOURAGEMENT FOR THOSE BOUND WITH UNHEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS OR SITUATIONS. AND FREE!!!ESPECIALLY A BOOST FOR THOSE WHO CAN’T AFFORD TO GO TO A COUNSELOR OR PSYCHOLOGIST, WHICH, IN THIS DAY AND AGE, SEEMS TO BE MOST OF US. MOST OF WHAT WE SEE ON TV IS USELESS INFORMATION , JUST TO ENTERTAIN. MEL SHOWED US , WITH WONDERFUL VARIETY OF RESEARCH AND GUESTS,… Read more »
So right on….dumb move on the part of the station. We finally had something good on TV and then it was just fine.
I am sorry she’s gone. Mel Robbins has a lot to offer: she assists folks to be able to stand back and (in a sense) view their behavior in the difficult and challenging situation they present. . She is gifted with how she works. She explores with them. I see her as genuine, authentic, spontaneous, funny. Etc
This is so disappointing. The only daytime show that actually helps people has been cancelled. Only to be replaced by more mindless drivel – Really?? Thank you for contributing to the dumbing down of America.
How disappointing that such a positive show is cancelled. I watched it every day and just figured the line up change was because of covid. I am so disappointed that Mel has been cancelled. I have become more and more disappointed in CBS’s choices lately and have turned to streaming. Mel Robbins Show please keep doing the show and streaming it for those of us that care to make our lives better. You do make a difference.
Me too. Losing the daily morning Mel show has made me no longer watch TV..I only watch Roku now.
