The Mel Robbins Show will not return next fall. The daytime talk show has been canceled. The series will finish out its one and only season though, so viewers can keep tuning in to watch the series until then.
Sony Pictures TV said the following about the cancellation of The Mel Robbins Show:
“The Mel Robbins Show will continue production as planned and deliver original episodes for the entire season, however it will not be returning for season two. Mel has had a positive impact on millions of daytime viewers and we still strongly believe in her message and the work she is doing. We are proud of the show and the talented team and thank our partners and launch group at Nexstar, and our advertisers and sponsors, for their exceptional support.”
Robbins also has her own words to share about the decision to end the series after one season, per The Hollywood Reporter:
“It was a privilege to have a platform on television to fight for everyday people. I am so proud of the show we created because it serves as a lifeline and daily resource for viewers who are struggling and want more out of their lives. I end every show by saying, ‘I believe in you and your ability to change,’ and with or without this show, I mean it.”
This fall, shows featuring Drew Barrymore and Nick Cannon will join the daytime talk show ranks.
What do you think? Do you watch The Mel Robbins Show? Are you sad that the show has been canceled?
I am so upset the Mel Robbins show is canceled!!! The show that actually helped people and didn’t focus on celebrity gossip or personal Hollywood gain… Mel helped so many people with so many REAL issues! I like Drew Barrymore, but I wouldn’t choose her over Mel… BRING MEL BACK!!!!!!!!!!!
Ginny
Such a simple show that only helped people, no games, no prizes. Only informative info on many aspects of our lives and our loved ones lives. Mel was open, honest and informative. I will miss her insight on so many things.
I am so disappointed Mel Robbins is cancelled. She had so many inspirational stories that had to do with everyday people. I am not interested about the usual day time talk shows. In fact Mel Robbins was the only one that I watched. I wish another channel would pick up the show. I’m sure a lot of viewers would watch.
Can’t believe this show has been cancelled. She gives such great advice & you can just see the “ light bulb” going off when the person gets it. She is the positive voice that we are not hearing now. I hope someone else will pick her show up.
I am so disappointed that Mel Robbins show won’t be returning. Having that support in my ‘toolbag’ has been an added benefit to the understanding on situations facing all of us on a daily basis.
I hope that this decision will be rethought with the realization how it helps so many.
I think this is premature! I recently discovered the Mel Robbins show since working from home. She speaks to a lot of the issues people are having resulting from covid 19. Several of my teammates are also watching her. I think this is a mistake – we need Me Robbins on tv!!!
I agree 100% this was/is a VERY PREMATURE DECISION.
I’m truly very upset that the Mel Robbins Show is being canceled. Mel Robbins is an amazing person. She has helped so many people including me. She is so honest, inspirational, down to earth and so very caring. They always get rid of the good beneficial educational shows. I also miss the show, “The
Chew.”
So sad to hear Mel’s show has been canceled it was very beneficial in many ways. I think the network is doing us a great disservice.
Mel Robin’s show has been impactful, giving insight to underlying problems and finding practical positive solutions in healing personal trauma and reconciliation in relationships. Watching Mel’s Show together it has helped our all ready good marriage, enabling us with tools to help others. I appreciate her transparency of her own life. She lives out her own advice creating an empathy with those she is helping. She shows a loving, caring spirit and authenticity.
Good, nothing but whining complaining people.
What ??? I loved Mel Robbins show !!! I thought her shows were inspiring and informative.. Boo!
I am glad to see Mel Robbins show is being cancelled. In today’s world wide pandemic of the Cornavirus we need to see more upbeat shows & stories about acts of kindness. She touches on some VERY depressing topics & as I said in todays pandemic we don’t need to see people crying Thank you
What?? I loved Mel Robbins show!! I can’t believe they are taking it off!! Why don’t you take off Kelly and Ryan? Now that show sucks!!!
Mel Robbins is the only Day Time show worth watching. She is very upbeat and has advice to make this a better world.
I do wish you would give this cancellation a second thought. With the turmoil we are going thru today, we need more people concerned with our mental health.
Mel Robbins appeared to sincerely want to help people, following the Steven R. Covey principle to seek to understand then to be understood. It was a great way to start the day. I will miss the show but am glad she has a significant on-line platform.
I love this show, focuses on living our best life, please bring it back!
