There are dark days ahead, or so says the newest MTV promo for The Shannara Chronicles TV show. In the promo, John Rhys-Davies’ character, Elven King Eventine, says “The events leading us to this moment have been unfurling for centuries.” The Shannara Chronicles premieres January 5th, 2016 on MTV.
Based on the fantasy novels by Terry Brooks, The Shannara Chronicles stars: Poppy Drayton, Austin Butler, Ivana Baquero, Manu Bennett and Rhys-Davies. The series is executive produced by Jon Favreau, Al Gough, Miles Millar, Dan Farah, Jonathan Liebesman and author Brooks.
