It’s a sad day for fans of The Tick. Deadline reports the Amazon TV show will remain cancelled.
Based on Ben Edlund’s long-running comic, the comedy tells the story of an eccentric superhero (Peter Serafinowicz) who fights crime with his sidekick, Arthur (Griffin Newman). The original series ran on FOX for one season in 2001. The new cast includes Jackie Earle Haley, Valorie Curry, and Brendan Hines.
In May, we reported Prime Video had cancelled The Tick after two seasons but creator Ben Edlund said the series would try to find another network.
Now, it looks like The Tick will remain cancelled. On social media, Edlund revealed the series was unable to find a new home:
After much door-knocking we have found no new home for the Tick series in this current market. #SaveTheTick & #LunaTickArmy I'm sorry we could not reward your glorious support with better news. I am so proud of the show, of the cast and crew and writers, and so warmed by the fans

What do you think? Are you a fan of The Tick? Would you have watched a third season?
Very dissapointed with the NBC lineup – The Village was excellent and the decsion to not take a chance has lost a viewer to the new lineup. My ratings count and I will give thgem to another network
