Though the cast and crew of The Whole Truth will get to finish filming their 13 episode commitment, there’s no guarantee viewers will get to see them any time soon. Earlier this week, it was revealed that the show had been cancelled by ABC. Now, it looks like the network is pulling the legal drama from the schedule for the whole month of November.
As previously announced, next week’s episode will be preempted by the interview special In the Spotlight With Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville. The following week, the entire Wednesday night line-up is bumped for the Country Music Awards.
After that, Whole Truth is being replaced by a pair of celebrity specials. On November 17th, ABC will air 25 Years of Sexy: People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive!. The following week, Primetime: Celebrity Plastic Surgery Gone Too Far? will take the timeslot.
It’s unknown if The Whole Truth will return in December or if ABC will keep the remaining nine episodes sitting on the shelf.
What do you think? Will ABC air the rest of the The Whole Truth episodes soon, over the summer, or never?

This makes me sooooo sad! “The Whole Truth” was an awesome show, and I looked forward to it every Wednesday. =(
I was really disappointed to hear that the show has been cancelled, I really liked it. I hope that they will at least air the last couple of shows… to replace it with those stupid shows is really sad, I hope that another network will pick it up.
What a shame! Having been involved in the legal profession, I really liked the premise of this series which showed both sides of a case as they prepared it for trial and then the trial itself with the “whole truth” kicked in at the very end. I wish ABC would consider placing the show in a more competitive time slot, like on a Friday or Saturday evening where there is not much of anything worth watching on any of the channels .
I loved this show. Please reconsider the cancellation ABC
I have been telling everyone I know that my favorite show this fall is Whole Truth – I just looked it up on line and see it’s been cancelled – I can’t believe it why???? All these reality shows are so stupid and then you get such a good show and some idiot cancels it!!!!!!
This was the best show. Why is it that any show that is a little different gets cancelled? It was perempted so many times it didn’t stand a chance. I do hope “The Whole Truth” will return at a later date
Good show at least air or put the last eps online. btw networks are dinosaurs and have no way ti deal with the changing landscape of entertainment delivery. if they did they coould find ways to keep good shows flowing somehow
Me and my wife loved this show, great cast, great writing better than ice skating with washed up b stars. Yet ABC and all there wisdom thought it better than whole truth. No wonder CBS kills them in ratings. Maybe ABC should hire some CBS guys or maybe CBS should take this show on or even TNT.
Who is making these choices? Taking away a great new show for more of the same crap, really Bachelor Pad? I too have not watched any of the shows that replaced The Whole Truth and was a loyal viewer, Thanks ABC.. No Really..
Sorry to hear we will not have the show The Whole Truth anymore. It was a great show. Seems like all we have now are the silly, stupid, sitcoms!!!!!!
It was a terrific show. It was never given a chance. When I was telling people to watch this creative show, some special was on. What a way to sabatoge a show. I think it is a well written, well casted show. I don’t get it. Please continue to show it ABC.
I LOVED this show. I like Law & Order. But that is more of the police side and prosecution. It was nice seeing something from the defense and prosecution angles. They need to bring this back. Lately ABC has been canceling lots of GREAT shows!!!!!!!! My Generation. Ugly Betty. Come on ABC!!!!
This was our favorite new show this season. We won’t be watching ABC anymore.
I am totally didappointed this show has been cancelled. I did NOT watch ANY of the shows which preempted it. This was the only program I watched on ABC the entire week.
What a way to loose TV viewers. See-ya!
What a way to ruin a birthday; finding out that your favorite show has been canceled! Shame on ABC for shelving a series of this caliber, yet offering insipid shows like Winter Wipeout and Bachelor Pad! Guess what network I won’t be watching…
