NBC gave their This Is Us TV show a lot of promotion and also gave the dramedy series a great timeslot, behind The Voice. Will the series deliver great ratings? Will it be cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.

As their paths cross and their life stories intertwine in curious ways, we find that several of them share the same birthday and have even more in common. The cast includes Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chris Sullivan, and Ron Cephas Jones.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival.
