Lori Loughlin
Things are not going well for Lori Loughlin. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hallmark has severed all ties with the When Calls the Heart co-star following her arrest.
Earlier this week, Loughlin was arrested by the FBI after being accused of participating in a nation-wide college admissions scheme. The Full House star has been a cast member of Hallmark’s hit series When Calls the Heart since its debut in 2014. Additionally, she stars in the network’s film series Garage Sale Mysteries.
Hallmark Channel released a public statement announcing their separation with Loughlin. The network doesn’t specify if they’ll continue to air the current season of When Calls the Heart but it seems likely that they will. If Heart is renewed for a seventh season, it appears that Loughlin’s Abigail Stanton character will not be a part of it.
Here’s the statement:
We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations. We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production.”
Update: A Hallmark spokesperson tells us that When Calls the Heart has been pulled from the March 17th schedule. Will future episodes air? “We are evaluating all creative options related to When Calls the Heart series.”

Do not cancel the episodes already produced. While the college issue is not good it has nothing to do with the show and should not be the deciding factor. The millions of fans who enjoy the show because of ALL of the cast, and the rest of the cast themselves, should not be penalized due to this event.
I LOVE WCTH Lori should be punished but not the loyal fans of the show. Kill her off!!
I just started watching When Calls the Heart, and loved it so much, I went through all series within weeks. This is a very good show, one person does not define the success. The other actors/actresses are very talented and to pull the show seems to indicate that Lori carried it, which I totally disagree with. This show should continue and her character should e recast. There are so many that could easily replace her.

Yes her arrest does effect me watching her in the future. I have watched all of the “When Calls the Heart” episodes and hate to penalize all the other actors on this show because of her lack of ethics. I would like to complete the latest series then see her phased out of future shows.
I will continue to watch even she’s on the show including Garage sale mysteries.. People make mistakes its just our mistakes aren’t aired in the public eye. A bad decision doesn’t make her a bad person. I think it is horrible the only faces they keep posting for the word to see are Lori she’s not the only one accused but she’s the only one you think of when you hear about the scandal
I’m a huge fan of WCTH. I do think it’s appropriate to terminate Lori Loughlin, but don’t punish the rest of the cast and the fans! We want to see the rest of season 6 that are already completed and the part can be recast for season 7! This show is way too good to cancel!
We will definitely keep watching When Calls the Heart. It is unfortunate about Lori, but the show is excellent and should continue
Once again, “GUILTY” until proven innocent. Why not complete “When Calls the Heart’s” season! It used to be, that selected lawyers and completed trials determined guilt! That would allow ample time for the show to complete! Good shows, therefore are dropping by the wayside, while the TV smut continues. Signed, A disappointed viewer.
Please keep When Calls the Heart!! Let the season finish! Don’t punish/hurt the viewers and other cast members because of one person! We will all continue to watch!

I agree with the Hallmark channel’s decision to cut ties with Lori Loughlin. I feel it would be hard to continue watching WCTH if she was still on the show. In fact, I know I would stop watching the Hallmark channel altogether. Thank you for standing firm with what is right and ethical.
I love When Calls the Heart and will continue to watch. While disappointed in Lori Laughlin I might remine everybody there are few saints amoung us. Redemption is one of the themes of the show.
We Hearties are hearty. We’ve lived through the death of Jack, I’m sure the writers can make an easy transition for the exit of Abigail. It’s such a good, wholesome show with many good actors and characters. I hope the series goes on for many more years. That said, I’m heartsick for what has happened with Lori Loughlin, what a foolish unnecessary thing to do. It’s so unbelievable. However, we’ll have to wait to see how things play out.
Please continue When Calls the Heart. Although we will miss Abigail, the other characters are so much fun to watch!
