Lori Loughlin
Things are not going well for Lori Loughlin. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hallmark has severed all ties with the When Calls the Heart co-star following her arrest.
Earlier this week, Loughlin was arrested by the FBI after being accused of participating in a nation-wide college admissions scheme. The Full House star has been a cast member of Hallmark’s hit series When Calls the Heart since its debut in 2014. Additionally, she stars in the network’s film series Garage Sale Mysteries.
Hallmark Channel released a public statement announcing their separation with Loughlin. The network doesn’t specify if they’ll continue to air the current season of When Calls the Heart but it seems likely that they will. If Heart is renewed for a seventh season, it appears that Loughlin’s Abigail Stanton character will not be a part of it.
Here’s the statement:
We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations. We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production.”
Update: A Hallmark spokesperson tells us that When Calls the Heart has been pulled from the March 17th schedule. Will future episodes air? “We are evaluating all creative options related to When Calls the Heart series.”

Love the shows Lori is in and upset they are discontinued for now. However, the shows need to go on without her character.
I totally understand Hallark’s decision to cut ties with Ms Loughlin. Her wholesome image both on and off screen is forever tainted regardless of the outcome. However, as a huge fan of WCTH, Hallmark must let the show go on!!! It is truly a wonderful show and the cast is outstanding. Recast Abigail or write her out, we went on without Jack, now its time to go on without the Mayor!!! I would still watch. there is a lot of amazing talent and stories left to tell. the show is about elizabeth. I think they could definitely go on without her.
Re-cast her character – no big deal. Not fair to make SO MANY OTHERS suffer for her poor decisions.
When Calls the Heart is my very favorite TV program! Other shows have actors leave all the time and the show doesn’t get cancelled. the 17h is just days away, let us see that one and then there are ways to substitute an actor , it’s done all the time–have her need to move cross country for something or kill her of and then bring on a new owner of her business and have town elect a new mayor.
Our entire family waits for Sunday evenings to sit and watch when calls the heart together. We are looking forward to watching it this Sunday, March 17 as well. It would be ridiculous to not air the rest of the season. Also, can we not wait until she comes out with a statement and then make a decision on her character? Everyone makes mistakes. Can we not forgive??
I stand by their decision. We all need to be accountable for our actions. I hope Lori and all the others get the same punishment a non famous person would receive for what they have done.

Please keep airing “When calls the heart” season 6 and recast someone else for future seasons…..I would keep watching without Lori being involved.
When Calls the Heart is a wonderful show. I couldn’t care less what she’s doing in her personal life, this is business. The viewers, as well as her coworkers, should not have to pay the price for how she’s handling her personal life. If absolutely necessary, drop her from the show, but continue on.

I think its a sad day when social media and the internet once again destroy another life and another career before ever going to court to plead their case in front of a judge. The world is not the judge or the jury but they profess to be and that alone is a damn shame! Let Lori have her day in court and figure it out. All the other excellent members of WCTH cast do not deserve to be punished for the actions of one.
Lori should definitely be dropped on all television and movies. She has caused her own heartache by cheating and lying on her daughters behalf. We are living in a two tier country right now and we Americans that pay taxes work hard and can’t get ahead are fed up.. It appears money buys all, and those with a lot of it think laws do not apply to them. I hope Hollywood will see Lori for what she is and forever shall she be unemployed as a STAR. I love the series and would like to see it continue. Don’t let Lori’s unfortunate decisions ruin a good series with other great characters.
I will continue watching the show. Loughlin is Abigail on the show and her character hasn’t done anything wrong. However, I do understand not allowing her to represent Hallmark any longer but don’t penalize When Calls the Heart fans. We love the show!! Just find a replacement. Please!! Allow us to watch the rest of this season!! It was bad enough when Jack left. Don’t take the show away!
