Lori Loughlin
Things are not going well for Lori Loughlin. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hallmark has severed all ties with the When Calls the Heart co-star following her arrest.
Earlier this week, Loughlin was arrested by the FBI after being accused of participating in a nation-wide college admissions scheme. The Full House star has been a cast member of Hallmark’s hit series When Calls the Heart since its debut in 2014. Additionally, she stars in the network’s film series Garage Sale Mysteries.
Hallmark Channel released a public statement announcing their separation with Loughlin. The network doesn’t specify if they’ll continue to air the current season of When Calls the Heart but it seems likely that they will. If Heart is renewed for a seventh season, it appears that Loughlin’s Abigail Stanton character will not be a part of it.
Here’s the statement:
We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations. We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production.”
Update: A Hallmark spokesperson tells us that When Calls the Heart has been pulled from the March 17th schedule. Will future episodes air? “We are evaluating all creative options related to When Calls the Heart series.”

I have never participated in a posting. With that said the tradgedy of the college and SAT bribe scandal I’ve felt I’d like to say that wealth can twist people into believing they are untouchable. It’s not that bribing to get your child into school hasn’t been done before. There are families who donated buildings at Harvard to get their children in. Science centers sport facilities etc. This is more to me because I have seen Lori Loughlin as the sweetest, kindest, but always HONEST person and it is devastating to have this not be true. Please don’t cancel Where Goes The Heart tv series.
It’s a wonderful show. I am sorry to see Lori removed from the series but the remaining talented actors should should not take the hit because one bad apple.
I am a devoted fan and will remain so. Please, please, please keep Where Goes The Heart on the air for all us fans. Thank you.
Cancelling a whole show because of Lori Loughlin’s wrong doings doesn’t make any sense. Her Abigail character can be recasted or written off. Down right cancelling wouldn’t be fair for the rest of the cast – especially the newcomers.
Don’t cancel Garage Sale Mysteries or When Calls the Heart because of one person’s problem. Why should the rest of the cast and crew and all the fans of the show themselves suffer? I have a huge issue with what Lori Loughlin did as an overly aggressive parent, and I realize that what she and all the others involved in this scandal did has an impact on lots of other innocent people. No reason to make all actor/actresses pay the price, it’s an individual opinion. The show is watched and enjoyed by so many. We do not know the whole story, she’s a mom and human. I think Hallmark is a channel distinguished by being different than ABC, NBC, etc your acting the same way. Disappointed in how Hallmark is reacting/responding
I would be so sorry if When Calls the H is canceled because it is by far the best show on Hallmark. Family program. Write Abigail out but please don’t throw out the baby with the bath water and punish those of us who have been loyal viewers since the first episode. Also it’s unfair to punish the other fine cast members because of one cast member.
Please don’t cancel When Loves the Heart. Even though I liked all Lori Loughlin’s shows, I think this will do fine without her. This is a great program for children and adults. Thank you.
Troubled regarding the ethics of Lori Loughlin. I won’t in the future be watching anything that she is in, however since I have put in many hours of watching the series when calls the heart, I don’t think it’s fair for the other actors and actresses to share the brunt of her poor judgment. I personally would like to see the rest of the seasons Episodes, and then see her feed it out.
I support you 100% to cut Loughlin from When Calls The Heart and Garage Sale Mysteries, but don’t cancel the shows or production of future shows. Many TV shows go on for years after lead characters are cut or leave, these two can as well. They both have wonderful actors/actresses who work hard every day and shouldn’t be punished for the poor decisions of 1 staff member.
Please don’t cancel the show. Her character can be replaced with another actress
Doesn’t seem right to adversely affect the rest of the cast. Either recast the part or have her character leave Hope Valley.

PLease do not cancel When Calls the Heart. The show is too good to let go by one persons mistake. Don’t make the viewers and the rest of the cast suffer for Lougklin’s mistake! The show is just too good to let go.
Please don’t cancel When Calls the Heart. Can Abigail leave Hope Valley to care for her sick mom? She can leave her son to live with Elizabeth.
Pleae don’t cancel When calls the Heart, I look forward to the show every Sunday. If they fire Lori just have her move on to another area but what aboout her adopted son, will he have to leave the show as well. Not fair to him!
To cancel the show because of one person, Lori just draws more attention tonher “importance” in the production itself. You could try writing her character out or set the Cafe on fire. The less attention paid to her the better. Wish cedar cove would come back. Sudden endings are terrible and I may give up on Hallmark shows if this one gets
Cancelled mainly because of her. The death of Jack was difficult for many. Withdrawing a show seems like a cop out
It’s not fair that all the other people on the show has to loose their jobs because of her poor judgment. Just replace her. I’m sure there are many other hallmark actors that would love to have her part . And when calls the heart is a great series
