Lori Loughlin
Things are not going well for Lori Loughlin. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hallmark has severed all ties with the When Calls the Heart co-star following her arrest.
Earlier this week, Loughlin was arrested by the FBI after being accused of participating in a nation-wide college admissions scheme. The Full House star has been a cast member of Hallmark’s hit series When Calls the Heart since its debut in 2014. Additionally, she stars in the network’s film series Garage Sale Mysteries.
Hallmark Channel released a public statement announcing their separation with Loughlin. The network doesn’t specify if they’ll continue to air the current season of When Calls the Heart but it seems likely that they will. If Heart is renewed for a seventh season, it appears that Loughlin’s Abigail Stanton character will not be a part of it.
Here’s the statement:
We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations. We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production.”
Update: A Hallmark spokesperson tells us that When Calls the Heart has been pulled from the March 17th schedule. Will future episodes air? “We are evaluating all creative options related to When Calls the Heart series.”

Why discontinue using Lori. She made a mistake. Keep the shows going.
Let the show air even if Lori will no longer be on the show. There are too many good actors to cancel the show over one or two people. If some don’t like it, they shouldn’t watch. Continue the series! Great programming. Too bad Lori did what she supposedly did. KEEP producing the show!!
It seems a premature action by Hallmark. There has been no trial yet. What happened to “innocent until proven guilty” in America ?
I really hope Hallmark produces DVD Collection Four (2018 shows) of Garage Sale Mystery. Great entertainment. So sorry to see Lori entangled in something like this. Suggestion: produce the 2019 shows with a new person playing Lori’s character.

Please don’t pull When Calls The Heart! There are so few good, clean quality family shows available nowadays. Continue W the current season and for next season just kill her character off. I look so forward to watching this show on Sunday’s. It hardens back to when we had showd like Little House On The Prairie, The Walton’s, Highway To Heaven. Please don’t take this shoe away from us.
If proven guilty I am truly disappointed in Lori. I agree with the comments to write her out of all series she is in. But don’t punish the other members of the cast and their viewers.
By carte blanche dealing with this matter it is totally unfair to the rest of the performers in WCTH. Lori is not the show. I am disappointed by her actions but the other actors and the numerous loyal fans of the show should not be penalized because of this. WCTH is such a heart warming family show. You can sit on a Sunday night and watch a show that does not involve Zombies, people getting blown up, shot or dealing with supernatural occurrences. I agree one hundred percent, its a good snow so don’t punish the rest of the cast, replace her like they replaced people in the pilot episode…..
What happened to innocent until proven guilty? This is still America, right? I think making judgement against Lori Loughlin before hearing All of the Facts and hearing from Her Side of this Story is wrong and un-American! Shame on All of you!
I agree she should not be removed from the show just because there is a suspic tion that she might be involved in something. She is NOT guilty until proven. There is way too much accusing without pro of in a lot of actors lives. Ruining of a life without prior is utterly Wrong.

I love the Garage Sale Mysteries! Don’t cancel it! I love all of the actors on this series! Please at least show the reruns!! The actors and audience shouldn’t be the ones punished because of one person’s bad decision!

I don’t think it’s fair to pull when calls the heart off the air. The lives of the other characters are just as important as her. We survived Daniel Lissing leaving and we’ll survive Lori Loughlin leaving too. The show must go on!

I agree that When Calls The Heart should not be cancelled. Replace her or write her character out of the show but don’t take it out on the rest of the cast or the viewers.
I totally agree with this comment. Daniel’s leaving was hard but they have dealt with it in such a compassionate way and still manage to make mention of him in every episode. As much as I would be sad to see Abigail’s character gone from the show I am sure it would survive this too.
I think the March 17th episode should be aired and the season finished if it has been filmed, and where it can be done smoothly, Lori Loughlin should be written out. Maybe she can die like Daniel Lissing or move away or whatever. Certainly Hallmark cannot continue with her,
but I think everyone would understand that “it’s just a movie” and this is not something Hallmark had any involvement with, or control over. Why should Hallmark and FANS be

I love WCTH! As sad as I am about Lori Loughlin, as Mayor Abigail Stanton, I still hope that When Calls the Heart will continue to be aired. I agree with Ann Hamill. Maybe they could just have her die or something like that. Or maybe, just maybe they could find another actress to play her role.
I’m not trying to sound mean or anything but I’m just sad and kinda upset about what supposedly happened.

I agree Alison Sweeney would be a good fit. I enjoy watching Garage Sale Mysteries and was looking forward to new episodes.
Alison Sweeney is already doing a new series, preferred her in Murder She Baked series. Not sure she’s a fit for Garage Sale, but I’m sure HM can find a replacement. Too bad, Lori was perfect in that role.

Keep the show! Those who have watched since day 1 and/or acted to make the show what it is deserve to continue on. My kids can walk in the room freely when this is on and that means everything to me.
