Lori Loughlin
Things are not going well for Lori Loughlin. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hallmark has severed all ties with the When Calls the Heart co-star following her arrest.
Earlier this week, Loughlin was arrested by the FBI after being accused of participating in a nation-wide college admissions scheme. The Full House star has been a cast member of Hallmark’s hit series When Calls the Heart since its debut in 2014. Additionally, she stars in the network’s film series Garage Sale Mysteries.
Hallmark Channel released a public statement announcing their separation with Loughlin. The network doesn’t specify if they’ll continue to air the current season of When Calls the Heart but it seems likely that they will. If Heart is renewed for a seventh season, it appears that Loughlin’s Abigail Stanton character will not be a part of it.
Here’s the statement:
We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations. We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production.”
Update: A Hallmark spokesperson tells us that When Calls the Heart has been pulled from the March 17th schedule. Will future episodes air? “We are evaluating all creative options related to When Calls the Heart series.”

When Calls the Heart is one of my favorite shows. I look forward to it each winter and wish it could air for more than 10 episodes each year. I hope there is a way to preserve the series, and to air it this season and in the future. I will continue to watch it for as long as it airs, as I really enjoy the characters and story lines.
Please don’t cancel this wonderful show!!! Jack died and we were heartbroken but we moved on. Abigail can die and we’ll move on! Hope Valley is strengthened by its losses. Rosemary is evolving and may morph into s woman who can hold Hope Vallet together like Abigail did. I applaud Hallmark for firing Laughlin.

she made a mistake I really like the garage sale mystery movies and would continue to watch them.
While I don’t expect the actors in HM shows to be as good and earnest as the characters they play, LL has thrived for decades as an “America’s sweetheart” from Aunt Becky to Abigail Stanton. Certainly no one is guilty in America until proven so in court. I can image HM wants to get in front of this though. There is a recording of LL conspiring about this. We all make mistakes and yes this is a big one but who are we to judge. I feel she should pay a price but why let such a wonderful and talented person go from Hallmark. I will truly miss her.
I enjoy watching When Calls the Heart as well as Garage Sale Mysteries. I’d really hate to see When Calls the Heart cancelled due to the bad acts of one actor. I don’t approve of Lori Loughlin’s buying her daughter’s way into college, but I find the coaches and admissions advisors and resource specialists more at fault in this. Sounds like the admissions advisor and coaches have made this a common practice in the past and offered their services for a price. I love the show and in show business the show must go on. I say replace her and move on.
I am very disappointed with Lori Loughlin’s actions! Both of my sons attended universities on their own merit, and have had to repay their own student loans. She makes enough money to have put her children through college herself, but to do this is appalling! I will no longer be watching anything she is in. Very disappointing.
Lori is certainly not the principle wrongdoer in this effort. The Garage Sale Mysteries ARE Lori. This activity does not make her a poor actor. Let her get her punishment from the justice system; she won’t contaminate the Hallmark “reputation” by having her on some shows.
I guess forgiveness & redemption Abigail spoke of are only trite script lines, not a true HM sentiment. Not saying I agree with her actions but I thought Christians were supposed to extend those qualities, along with grace. I would have still watched her. Oh well, HM is fictional after all, like most of tv.
I recognize that she has been accused of a crime, should the justice system be allowed to complete their job before you(Halmark) me or anyone else decide we know all the facts and decide guilt or innocence

Yes I will continue watching When Calls The Heart – replace her with someone else (although I hate seeing her off the show). In real life people move, or die, etc., so replace her somehow.
Such a shame – I’d still watch the show with or without me her.
I love Lori…I don’t want her to be let go from Hallmark Channel…all of the shows Lori has done for Hallmark Channel are so great. I watch them over and over…Please rethink your decision about cutting Lori Loughlin…Thank you for your time….Pam
