Last year, Hallmark launched the When Hope Calls TV series, a spin-off of Hallmark Channel’s When Calls the Heart TV series. The company upset some fans because When Hope Calls was released as an exclusive of the Hallmark Movies Now streaming service. The first season of 10 episodes wrapped in October 2019 and has yet to be cancelled or renewed for a second season. Now, the western drama series is coming to cable.
When Hope Calls stars Morgan Kohan, Jocelyn Hudon, Ryan-James Hatanaka, Greg Hovanessian, Wendy Crewson, Hanneke Talbot, and Jefferson Brown. The series kicks off in 1916 and centers on two sisters, Lillian (Kohan) and Grace (Hudon), who were orphaned and separated as toddlers. Now that they’re adults, Lillian and Grace have reunited and opened an orphanage in the ranching town of Brookfield.
When Hope Calls will air after on Sundays, starting on February 23rd, at 9:00 PM. The episodes will follow seventh season installments of When Calls the Heart.

Airing on Sundays After New Episodes of Season 7 of “When Calls the Heart”“When Hope Calls” will make its Cable premiere with Season 1 on Sunday, February 23, (9 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel, following cable’s hit series, “When Calls the Heart” every Sunday.
“I am thrilled that “When Hope Calls” will be part of the Sunday night lineup following the beloved TV series, “When Calls the Heart” season 7 on Hallmark Channel,” said Morgan Kohan who plays Lillian. “Fans can get their fix all in one night with the back-to-back airing of both shows. From Hope Valley, to the town of Brookfield, I hope fans will fall in love with all of the characters, and their heartfelt themes of community, family and love.”

Something tells me too many viewers weren’t willing or able to afford to pay extra & didn’t get as many subscribers as they hoped, so HM made it available on regular HM channel. I saw the first 2 free episodes but wouldn’t pay more. I already pay for one of my pkgs. Good save & move on HM. I won’t have the backstory for Season One going into Season Two. but it’s good that they changed it up.
They are going to show season 1 starting Feb 23rd. You won’t miss a thing!
I have enjoyed all seasons of When Calls the Heart, and am looking forward to the next season. I watched When Hope Calls and am also a huge fan of that show. I am very anxious to see more seasons of When Hope Calls also. It is so refreshing to be able to watch a show without foul language and a bunch of sex and violence. These are both very refreshing while still having a good story line and being enjoyable to watch.
I have Series When Hope calls thru dish but was only able to get episodes 1 thru 8. How do I get episodes 9 and 10 to watch.
I do not get Hallmark Cable, but subscribe to Hallmark Movies Now.
I think When Hope Calls was wonderful when I saw the first season. I am really disappointed that I will not be able to see it.
I am a huge When Calls the Heart and after watching When Hope Calls, I’m an even bigger fan and I am praying for more seasons to come! Please give us more of this, both programs we can sit down as a family and watch together without any corrupt and distasteful scenes. Please continue on with more seasons!

I started watching wcth on netflix, i havent seen any of season 6….i dont have hallmark. Will netflix eventually get the seasons of both whc, wcth. Im a senior and live on fixed income and dont have cable. I have what i can afford, would love to see the shows.
Are they going to play the first season at all when hope calls so we know what’s going on

So glad When Hope Calls will be on the regular Hallmark channel. It seems to be taking forever to cycle back to When calls the Heart. I’m excited to see.it back and the new one right after it. Thank you Hallmark for setting up my Sunday watching schedule.
I’m thrilled hallmark decided to put When hope calls on cable, since we have two hallmark cable channels and it should be on one of them. We wanted to watch but wasn’t going to pay for another channel. We will definitely be watching now
