A spy drama with a screwball comedy bent, Whiskey Cavalier stars Scott Foley, Lauren Cohan, Ana Ortiz, Tyler James Williams, Vir Das, and Josh Hopkins. The series centers on FBI Agent Will Chase (Foley), codename: “Whiskey Cavalier” and CIA operative Frankie Trowbridge (Cohan), codename: “Fiery Tribune.” Although they start off as rivals, they’re soon assigned to a joint-agency task force to root out corruption and crime and save the world.
Airing on Wednesday nights, the first season of Whiskey Cavalier is averaging a 0.59 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.47 million viewers.
Out of the 21 scripted ABC TV shows of the 2018-19 season, Whiskey Cavalier is in 18th place in the demo and 13th place in total viewership.
The decision to renew or cancel Whiskey Cavalier reportedly came down to the wire. Word is that Warner Bros TV will be shopping season two to other outlets so there is some small hope that the series will survive.

I loved this show and you did not given it a chance. Put it on a different night followed by another hit show like everyone else does and see if it doesn’t change viewer ratings. It is a great show.

WC is one of the most refreshing shows on tv. Great cast has terrific chemistry between all the characters; clever scripts offer unique action situations & enjoyable banter between all. If ABC doesn’t reconsider, I hope Amazon Prime or Netflix pick it up. (Not Hulu please, I don’t want another subscription!)

A bunch of my mom’s shows got canceled the other day, and now this one too? Heck, the small amount I saw i liked.
The network should have picked up Season 2. Some shows need more time to find an audience. The leads had good chemistry. It would just take a little extra time for viewers to understand the comedic aspects of the second banana characters.

Really enjoy this show. The interaction of the characters is quite entertaining. I hope there is a season 2 somewhere to watch.
