It looks like the reign is over for The White Princess. Recently, star Jodie Comer revealed there will be no season two for the Starz TV show.
A sequel to The White Queen, the historical drama follows the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York (Comer) to Henry Tudor (Jacob Collins-Levy) during the end of England’s War of the Roses. The cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan.
It’s not a huge surprise that The White Princess is ending with only one season. Its predecessor, The White Queen, was limited to one season as well. However, it remains unclear if there will be a third installment in the Starz historical saga. The series are based on the historical novels of Philippa Gregory and there are several more that detail what happens after the events of The White Princess.

I LOVED the White Princess!! I told my family and they all started watching it and got hooked. I’m VERY disappointed that it’s cancelled. We were all waiting for season 2. 🙁
I am absolutely hooked. I hope with everything they make another installment cause I’ll be hooked on that too. I’ve watched several times every episode from both the white queen and the white princess. I want to see what happens next. Tried watching the Tudors but it wasn’t giving me the satisfaction i got from watching this. So i hope they do the smart thing and continue. This is a definite winner with loyal followers that will watch every time.
First i was hooked on the white queen…cancelled. then excited to see the white princess….loved them both and now the white princess is done as well….heavy sigh

I adore Henry and Lizzie. I watch episodes over and over…would LOVE more of them. White Princess and Outlander are sadly the only things I look forward to

I love the series and want more. There is certainly enough material. It’s a terrifically interesting time in European history and the White Queen and White Princess series have been wonderful to watch. Please reconsider the cancellation!
Disappointed as I thought it would go until her death or no more queen. Was looking forward to another season. Feel it leaves me hanging.

We NEED another season. Why is it when theres a good show it always get pulled. Only issue with White princess was toooo much sex scenes. Other wise the Plot was wonderful being British i really enjoed it
The White Princess has a looooot less sex scenes than The White Queen and a looooot less nudity. And White Queen is less prurient than Outlander.
Really bummed this won’t be continued. I was really looking forward to the next season, and I hope they find something else from Philippa Gregory’s works to create.
I really hate when they do this! From now on I’m not watching a new series until there are several seasons completed…
What’s the point of getting into a series to have it be left open ended… not ok to do to loyal viewers

I just decided I should watch the last episode of the white princess so I could refresh my mind in prep for the second season……as the first time around, I loved it. Next step, find out when season 2 begins……WHAT….NO SECOND SEASON??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? I’ve been waiting patiently…what a let down. Shame on you!
I started my Starz subscription because of the Outlander series and didn’t discover the White Queen and White Princess until they were already done. I’m so disappointed that they aren’t bringing them back. I think if they did, and advertised on Outlander, they could build a larger audience. People just don’t know about them.uMyN2
