It looks like the reign is over for The White Princess. Recently, star Jodie Comer revealed there will be no season two for the Starz TV show.
A sequel to The White Queen, the historical drama follows the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York (Comer) to Henry Tudor (Jacob Collins-Levy) during the end of England’s War of the Roses. The cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan.
It’s not a huge surprise that The White Princess is ending with only one season. Its predecessor, The White Queen, was limited to one season as well. However, it remains unclear if there will be a third installment in the Starz historical saga. The series are based on the historical novels of Philippa Gregory and there are several more that detail what happens after the events of The White Princess.

I was really looking forward to another season as there is so much more to tell. I’m very disappointed to learn there is no plan for the return of a great show. ☹️

I love these books by Phillipa Gregory and I loved the way Start did both ‘The White Queen’ and ‘The White Princess’. Please consider continuing with these stories. So interesting and well done.

I loved the white princess Asian I loved the white queen I just wish that we got more than one season but if this is all you going to do is make one season hopefully their is a 3rd installment on this series and don’t make us wait as long as you did on the 2nd one.
I LOVE both the white Queen and the White Princess! Please complete the story! The whole package is beautiful and authenticity of the costumes, horse tack, weapons makes for a true period indulgence. God i wanted to strangle Henry’s mother a dozen times lol! Yes I am a Huge fan!
They should bring it back for sure or at least another season that is similar in time frame I’m a guy and I liked it better than my girlfriend

Loved the White Queen and equally loved the White Princesses. I was told that the Of Ice and Fire ( Game of Thrones)series was inspired by the war of the roses and for me makes both of these series even more ineresting. Hope they make a third one.
