It looks like the reign is over for The White Princess. Recently, star Jodie Comer revealed there will be no season two for the Starz TV show.
A sequel to The White Queen, the historical drama follows the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York (Comer) to Henry Tudor (Jacob Collins-Levy) during the end of England’s War of the Roses. The cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan.
It’s not a huge surprise that The White Princess is ending with only one season. Its predecessor, The White Queen, was limited to one season as well. However, it remains unclear if there will be a third installment in the Starz historical saga. The series are based on the historical novels of Philippa Gregory and there are several more that detail what happens after the events of The White Princess.

I am very very sad to hear there will be no season 2. I loves this show and they should bring it back. Don’t know what they were thinking canceling it when things were starting to get really good they need to rethink their decision on this show and give it a chance. Makes one afraid to start watching series on Starz they need to look at that aspect also.

Are you kidding me…no renewal! This is why no one watches new shows, because the someone in the great unknown cancels them after one season of low ratings! You need to give them a chance to catch on…not every show is GOT!
