It looks like the reign is over for The White Princess. Recently, star Jodie Comer revealed there will be no season two for the Starz TV show.
A sequel to The White Queen, the historical drama follows the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York (Comer) to Henry Tudor (Jacob Collins-Levy) during the end of England’s War of the Roses. The cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan.
It’s not a huge surprise that The White Princess is ending with only one season. Its predecessor, The White Queen, was limited to one season as well. However, it remains unclear if there will be a third installment in the Starz historical saga. The series are based on the historical novels of Philippa Gregory and there are several more that detail what happens after the events of The White Princess.

I would like to see more! I think that it would be neat to see the 20 years before Henry the V111 becomes king & perhaps some insight into his marriage to Cathrine of Aragon. “The Tudors” begins at their annulment and I am curious to see Henry’s rise to power & how his mother, Elizabeth of York, influenced him.
REALLY.. I watched watched The White Queen faithfully and then The White Princess. It sucks that there was only one season of both. There has to be more to the storyline? Bring it back STARZ!
I sincerely hate it when these wonderful historical fiction series are cancelled. So angry this one isn’t returning. Bring it back Starz, or transfer it to HBO for Pete’s sake since they seem to have the money to keep things going. While you’re at it do the same thing with Camelot!

So troubling and disheartening to see that once again, another project was entered Into only to abondon it a short time latter leaving viewers waiting and hoping but likely disappointed. I am untrusting of your future endevours. I binge watched both the white queen and the white princess. I wrongly assume if it says season 1 that there will be more.
