It looks like the reign is over for The White Princess. Recently, star Jodie Comer revealed there will be no season two for the Starz TV show.
A sequel to The White Queen, the historical drama follows the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York (Comer) to Henry Tudor (Jacob Collins-Levy) during the end of England’s War of the Roses. The cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan.
It’s not a huge surprise that The White Princess is ending with only one season. Its predecessor, The White Queen, was limited to one season as well. However, it remains unclear if there will be a third installment in the Starz historical saga. The series are based on the historical novels of Philippa Gregory and there are several more that detail what happens after the events of The White Princess.

I loved both The White Queen and The White Princess. Being a huge Philipa Gregory fan of both series. Very disappointed this will not be continued.
yes please do a second season.. there is still so much more to be told as it was in the book.
I watched the white princess after watching American gods and I loved it and I’m a guy. Really good show sucks there wont be another season. Who ever was in charge of canceling I only have 1 thing to say.

Yes, I have just streamed the white princess and am SO disappointed that it will not have a season 2! I thought it was amazing and the acting was phenomenal!! Don’t understand why they air crap TV and cancel good ones??

Starz could be the next Netflix or HBO if they got their act together and stopped cancellations of all these excellent shows. The White Princess easily could have gone for 5 seasons.
Yes we watched the white princess and have been waiting patiently for season 2 we are very disappointed to find it will be canceled but we will love to see a third addition to The Saga of the White Queen in the white princess
I agreed I was so upset when the white Queen was canceled and now the white princeee too! Atleast continue on with the books and let us see what happ n end.
So many chronological inaccuracies as to render it historically illiterate. No excuse for taking so much liberty with changing the past
I think the dopes that cancel good programming to put crap on season after season ought to have their heads examined. When will you learn that we don’t always get a chance to get into the program before you cancel it. A lot of times it’s just because there wasn’t enough premieres to catch our eye from something else, and by the time we realize it’s out there, you’ve canceled it. Didn’t anyone learn from the “Firefly” catastrophe?!! I had never even heard of it, until it was in syndication. And then I couldn’t take my eyes off of it.… Read more »
