In good news for fans, James Patterson’s Zoo TV show has been renewed for a third season on CBS. The scripted summer drama series, based on Patterson’s best seller, is currently in its second season on the Tiffany Network.
The Zoo TV series cast includes: James Wolk, Kristen Connolly, Nonso Anozie, and Billy Burke. Jeff Pinkner, Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, Scott Rosenberg, Michael Katleman, James Mangold, Cathy Konrad, Patterson, Bill Robinson, Leopoldo Gout, and Steve Bowen executive produce.

CBS RENEWS HIT SUMMER SERIES “ZOO” FOR THIRD SEASON
CBS announced today the third season renewal of the hit series ZOO for broadcast during summer 2017. Currently in its second season, ZOO is this summer’s second most-watched original scripted broadcast.
The two-hour second season finale of ZOO airs Tuesday, Sept. 6 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT).
ZOO joins the next edition of the summer reality hit BIG BROTHER on CBS’s 2017 summer line-up. As previously announced, BIG BROTHER was picked up for two more editions, for summer 2017 and 2018.
Based on the #1 bestseller by James Patterson, ZOO is a global thriller about a wave of violent animal attacks against humans across the planet. ZOO is produced by CBS Television Studios. The series is distributed domestically by CBS Television Distribution and worldwide by CBS Studios International. Jeff Pinkner, Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec, Scott Rosenberg, Michael Katleman, James Mangold, Cathy Konrad, James Patterson, Bill Robinson, Leopoldo Gout and Steve Bowen are executive producers.
The first season of ZOO is now available on Netflix in the U.S. Season two will be available Sept. 14, 2016.

Relieved to hear that Zoo has been renewed for third season. Is Mitch Morgan still alive after vicious hybrid animal attack? Hope so. Love the character and all the others on the show.

So glad it’s renewed!!!!! Big fan of Billy Burke and was so upset when he was killed or so we thought , please don’t do that again he’s the reason I watch Zoo. Now I have something to look forward to 🙂

Yay! Another season! Best show on television. Most original. Don’t miss an episode!
I came here hoping to see that this series was cancelled. Seriously,, do they not see how many of us change the channel once N.C.I.S. is over? We often get caught up in whatever show we are watching and do not tune back in at 9:00 central for the next show. Tuesday night was always CBS all night long until they started playing this junk.
