TV show description:
This TV series gives a new take on the classic Arthur Conan Doyle characters. It’s a modern-day drama about a crime-solving duo that cracks the NYPD’s most impossible cases.

Following his fall from grace in London and a stint in rehab, eccentric detective Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) escapes to Manhattan where his wealthy father forces him to live with his worst nightmare — a sober companion, Doctor Joan Watson (Lucy Liu). She was a successful surgeon until she lost a patient and her license three years ago.

Watson views her current job as another opportunity to help people, as well as paying a penance. However, the restless Sherlock is nothing like her previous clients. He informs her that none of her expertise as an addiction specialist applies to him and he’s devised his own post-rehab regimen — resuming his work as a police consultant in New York City.

Watson finds she has no choice but to accompany her irascible new charge on his jobs. In the end, Sherlock finds her medical background helpful, and Watson realizes she has a knack for playing investigator.

Sherlock’s police contact is Captain Tobias “Toby” Gregson (Aidan Quinn). He knows, from previously working with Scotland Yard, that Sherlock is brilliant at closing cases, and welcomes him as part of the team.

Last night I was scratching my head on what CBS is doing. Yes I like looking at half naked women but I also like elementary and the how the show throws you a curve ball of mystery.

I just hope this show isn’t canceled and keeps throwing more crazy stories out.

Never miss an episode! This is one of a few shows I actually look forward too each week! Do not cancel!

Great show. Season 2 was rough. The writers and producers are so determined to keep Sherlock and Watson from becoming romantically involved, they resorted to having them fight.

This season is so much better. It is well written and everyone is friendly again.

I like Kitty, but the show is about Sherlock and Joan and their interaction. Hopefully the war is over.

Bring Kitty back. She gave the show some humanity that was seriously lacking and she contributed to seeing clues no one else saw. Okay, she is pretty too.

I love the show and was sorry to see Kitty leave. I thought her rough character was something the show needed. Let’s face it, sometimes the bad guys have to take a beaten

Ok so Kitty isn’t dead but the show has established that there is a need for Holmes and Watson to be working together. Not romantic but together. Kitty is off the show but I can see her showing up in another episode as a stand in to help with something. That being said I Need to SAY they need to stop the CHARACTER BUILDING. We know Holmes was addicted to drugs. We know Watson was a doctor and is the reason Holmes is not addicted to drugs.

What I want is some smart bad guys that think out of the box. I like the recent episode of the guy erasing everyone’s credit cards bills. I thought the story was genius and never saw it coming.

What I want is a bad guy like “Dexter” who Holmes, Watson and New York has a bad timing trying to stop. A vigilantly or at least bad guy like Holmes last fling. “M”.

This is a great show, with great story ideas but please, please give me a bad guy to cheer for on this show and be torn between cheering for the bad guy and cheering for Holmes. It could wake up a lot people who used to watch this show.

thanks

Yes, the show is good. Only complaint I have is that Sherlock needs to slow down
his speech so we can understand what he is saying, at times. He just talks too fast. The writers need to break up his dialogues to make them more understandable to us.

Used to like the show. What’s up with Kitty?? Hate her. Kitty and Watson moving out of his house killed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can’t watch anymore.

ELEMENTARY IS A GREAT SHOW. I HAVE ONLY SEEN SEASON 1 AND SEASON 2, BUT IT HAS BEEN WORTH WATCHING. I OWN BOTH DVD SETS AND WATCH THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN.
SEASON ONE IS BETTER THAN TWO BUT THE SHOW IS STILL GREAT. I THINK THE WRITERS ARE TRYING TO SPICE UP THE SHOW TO MUCH. BRING NEW PEOPLE INTO THE SHOW SHOULD BE DONE FROM TIME TO TIME, BUT THE SHOW IS WORKING. NEVER TRY TO REPLACE THE PEOPLE THAT STARTED IT. MOVIES DO THAT AND THEY ALWAYS FLOP.
HOLMES AND WATSON SHOULD ALWAYS BE ON THE EDGE OF A REAL RELATIONSHIP AND CONTINUE SOLVING CRIMES AS IN SEASON ONE.
DO NOT CANCELL THIS PROGRAM!!! IT’S ONE OF THE BEST ON TV TODAY…

Show has been great! Every episode I am blown away by the creative structure and paths it takes me. I would love to be apart of there team writing thinking about what some bad person is going to do next. My only question is why not have a bad guy get away instead of always getting caught?

Thanks

Johny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu developed into a great charasmatic couple that has been destroyed by bad writing the last part of last season and this year is just horrendous. This young woman playing Kitty is OK but to me moving Watson out of the Brownstone was not a great idea. Love the actors Miller and Liu. Liu is easy on the eyes and a great calming effect when watching but now who cares. If the show goes I am going to miss the characters and Lius legs.

I LOVE THE PROGRAM WITH JOHNY LEE MILLER AND LUCY LIU.
WHEN THEY WORK TOGETHER IS A PLEASURE TO WATCH , BUT THE
KITTY CHARACTER, TO ME HAS RUINED THE PROGRAM.
PLEASE BRING MILLER AND LIU TOGETHER AGAIN!!!!

Be careful. For some reason I see kitty getting killed at the end of this season. The reason for the character was to have a wedge between a Holmes and Watson romance. The show is about solving crazy crime that we would never see in real life or the news. I think kitty is a good character. They shou use her more as a common sense asshole rather than a train ing person.

Good show

Philip

I agree with Frank, except for the horrendous part. I definitely DO NOT care for Kitty. Whoever made the decision to make these changes should be horse-whipped. Lucy Liu and Miller made a good pair, even if there was no romanticism involved. The writers get them back together & get rid of Kitty. I’m 70 y/o, & I stand by this. :)
