Merlin: Season Five Preview

season five of Merlin TV showLast March, Syfy picked up the fifth season of the UK’s Merlin TV series but hasn’t said when they’ll start airing the episodes yet. Seasons typically start airing in January.

The fifth season is however set to debut across the pond on the 6th of October. A preview aired on Saturday night, following Doctor Who.

Here’s the episode’s description and the preview video:

Saturday 6th October
7:45pm – 8:30pm on BBC1
Camelot faces a new golden age, but even as the city flowers, the dark seeds of destruction are being sown. In the frozen wastelands of the north, men are disappearing without a trace. King Arthur and his knights undertake a dangerous mission into the unknown in search of answers – but once there, Merlin finds himself locked in a battle unlike any he has fought before.

What do you think? Are you looking forward to the return of Merlin? Do you think the series should end with season five or should there be a sixth year?

Fantasy + the Nights, Merlin et al….. delightful! Do not stop/cancel it PLEASE! It’s a way to push politics, murders, ignorance, violence against the weak, indignities, and life vicissitudes behind oneself….
