Where the hell is Panthro?!!! I LOVE Thundercats. I don’t like the voice or the new animation of Lion-O. He looks and sound like a teen age boy going through puberty. They should have not revamped everything. I hope we fans can finally have a movie deal out of this. But I will watch the new series.

I loved the original and like any fan I’m willing to watch this but I’m still wondering where’s Panthro? He was my favorite

I’m with Iceberg + Moses, where in heavens name is Panthro??? He was by far my (and apparently a lot of others favorite Thundercat) And Lion-o/Tygra are now brothers??? Seriously. Just set it in the future with a new cast and call it TC2, stop trying to rewrite history.

I got the same question as everyone else, where the hell is Panthro?! Are they serious. Maybe they’re planning on introducing him later in the series as they progress through episodes(if the show manages to last long enough).

I am totally looking forward to watching this along with my kids. I grew up with Thundercats and I think this shows a lot of promise.

For those asking about Panthro, he’s there. He just didn’t make it to this preview. There’s more info floating around with his concept.

I loved the original series and always wanted a new one like they did for He-Man on Cartoon Network which was much more adult oriented than its original series. I will give this a shot and hope I like it. Hell if it turns out okay maybe they will do an updated Silverhawks too.

I grew up watching the Thundercats with my uncle, so seeing this new interpritation of it is might give mix re-views with the older fan. but i like the appeal of the anime interpritation of the animation as well as the new character developments from their “old selves”. this modern thundercats might appeal to some older cartoon and cat lovers. but as far as targeting to a younger audience it dose have some heavy compationon to “poke’mon” and “ben ten”.

this looks way better than NickToons attempt to re-launch Voltron(since that show is a sequel of sort) i think Panthro is going to come in last..i dont mind the look much as long as they stay faithful to what The Original Thundercats was and @ Raye Cufley you need to watch the trailer again cause they show Snarf a few times

Networks are mad at the new technology. May 16, 2011 at 1:55 pm

I can’t put myself out there and watch any more new series until the “NETWORKS” Get Their Act Together. It want have much of a chance of making why put myself in that place. It is to stressful to watch TV now. Hardly any chance of making.
Networks haven’t realize it yet, canceling all those show hasn’t bought in any more viewers. More off us are falling off every day.
Television enthusiast can watch mass amount of show, in many different ways, at the viewers convenient.. By their DVR ‘S and Phones that have made a merge with technology and made it possible to make a highway to the internet. We can connect to a series from wherever there or possible internet connections. Series r downloading and watching more than ever. Even DVD has helped series grow in popularity.
Often we re-watch the same show over.
The Network desperately need help with their antiquated rating system.

The network need to go back re-think everything. Take a breath of new air because all this cancellation only proves they cant make it with an old outdated system

I wanted to get behind this show and not be that cranky old man who’s so biased by the experiences of his own youth that he’s unwilling to acknowledge the cool stuff of today. but i’m sorry, this show looks horrific. #1. Where the hell is Panthro?!? #2. YES, the original Thundercats was very kitche, but this looks way too candy-ass. #3. Where the hell is Panthro?!?

It doesn’t look bad. The original is way better. What happened to Panthro? Kids these days have crap to watch for good cartoons. Why not just replay the old stuff until talent comes around to think of something original?

Looks any other crappy and generic anime cartoon out there….TOTALLY GARBAGE. The original was the best and should not be messed with.

I was a big fan of the show as a kid and as much as I’ve tried to watch the show again because of the REALLY bad voice acting back then, I have to admit that I’m interested in this reboot. I don’t know if I completely approve of the animation design changes to Lion-O or Tigra and I didn’t even seen Panthro or Snarf but Cheetarah definitley benefits from the update. Chances are though that I’ll learn to love it. Especially with my all time favorite: Smallville coming to a close in less than two weeks.
