David Simon recently announced that his low-rated but critically-acclaimed Treme would be coming to a close. He indicated that HBO was allowing him to wrap up the TV series with a shortened fourth season but didn’t indicate exactly how many episodes that would include.
We now know that Treme’s last season will have just five episodes and the cast and crew will start filming on November 5th. They’ll start airing in mid-2013.
Season three of Treme is currently airing on HBO. There are 10 episodes and tomorrow night’s is the sixth installment. The season finale is expected to air on November 25th.
