24 to Life is back. Recently, LMN announced season two of the docuseries will premiere in January.

Season two of 24 to Life debuts on January 31st at 9 p.m. ET/PT, followed by the premiere of new series Babies Behind Bars at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
From LMN:
What would you do with your last 24 hours of freedom? 24 To Life follows 16 unexpected individuals as they go through their final 24 hours before they must enter prison to serve a significant sentence for their non-violent crime. In each of the eight one-hour episodes, two seemingly average people on their final day of freedom say their goodbyes and prepare their loved ones for the years they’ll be away. The series offers a startling look at the consequences of crime and incarceration, and the devastation their sentences have wrought on their families.
In the season premiere, Stephanie has 24 hours to try to repair the relationships she destroyed because of her crime. While she struggles to convince her mother that she’s changed for the better, her brother’s anger may be too far gone to heal. Meanwhile, Tressie, a former doctor tries to make amends to her teenage son whose life has been drastically altered because of her crime.
24 To Life is produced by T Group Productions in association with Pat McGee Pictures. Executive producers are Jenny Daly, Rob Lobl and Pat McGee. Laura Fleury, Peter Tarshis and Jennifer Wagman executive produce for LMN.”
What do you think? Have you seen 24 to Life? Will you watch season two?
I love this show. Everyone makes mistakes. These people are really brave to share their stories I think this would make a parent who is struggling to be a parent. There is always someone worse off than us family is important and it goes by fast. I would love to see a follow up when they get out of prison
I have to say I don’t feel the least bit sorry for the offenders. I actually get so mad that these people were so selfish to do this to their families. I feel like the show tries to make you feel bad for the criminals. It is the families that are left behind who are hurting. Very frustrating to watch.
I looked up what the show was about. I thought ‘Augh. Hokey reality show’
It is tough for me to find good reality shows having worked in mental health! LOL. Nothing compares! That is reality!
But the show was really good! It’s well done. Did not seem at all structured. People were adequately and appropriately emoting which is rare in reality shows because they’re not reality! I will definitely watch again. I liked that the statuses given at the end. I just hope it is all honest. That these people are the real offenders, their cases presented honestly, etc.
Hey I was just wondering about one of your females that you aired on your show and her name is Stephanie, could you tell me if she is still in prison or does she have a Facebook account
I was wondering the same thing sex trafficking minors and she got such a shot sentence. Some of the minors that she sold off to be raped may still be tortured. May be dead. How dare she get such a short sentence. She also should not be allowed to have any contact with her child. The people she stole those minors from may never see their kids again.
I think this show is a good show to show people how much it affects your family or friends or just the people around you when you make a mistake especially when children are involved i know how it feels i miss my daughters first couple of months after i had her for a mistake i did and it hurt so bad but i learned and my greatest fear is my daughter throwing that in my face when she gets older i hope this show can continue just to show people you wouldn’t want to do something your really gonna… Read more »
Pam you do not say how old your daughter was when you served your time, how much she can remember will likely depend on her age. You seem to understand that it could affect her, so I say continue to model good behaviour, (our children watch our actions & reactions at the best of times, but she will be super vigilant with you) and be honest with her. If you answer her questions with age appropriate answers, that will help build trust!
I think this is the best show I have seen in along time. So so real. Awesome
