Sanjay Gupta is getting into scripted television. Deadline reports ABC has bought a new series from the CNN medical correspondent and Larry King Live EP Wendy Walker.

Written by Sharon Lee Watson, the medical drama “centers on a team of physicians, working for a cable news operation, who travel the United States gaining access to our countries hot spots—medical mysteries, outbreaks, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters.”

Watson, Gupta, and Walker will executive produce the project alongside Josh Berman, Jeff Kwatinetz, and Josh Barry.
