What’s This TV Show About?
A competitive reality TV series airing on the CBS television network, The Amazing Race was created by Bertram van Munster and Elise Doganieri. Phil Keoghan returns as host in the 29th cycle of The Amazing Race. This season once again features 11 pairs of contestants racing around the world in pursuit of a million-dollar prize, but they’re utter strangers. Before “GO,” the racers must complete a challenge to determine the pecking order for selecting a teammate, based only on first impressions. Season 29 of The Amazing Race spans nine countries, 17 cities and 36,000 miles. The race kicks off in Los Angeles. Destinations this cycle include Panama City, Tanzania, Norway, and Greece.
Season 29 Ratings
The 29th season of The Amazing Race averaged a 0.83 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.03 million viewers. Compared to season 28, that’s down by 21% and 29%, respectively. Find out how The Amazing Race stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.

Been a fan of this show for years! It has inspired many vacations to cities I never would have thought to visit. Contestants are inspiring. New time slot can’t be helping ratings. Please please renew!! Loved the week when there were 2 Epis on the same night. These days it’s hard to wait a whole week to see what happens next!!
Love Amazing Race! If ratings are low, maybe it’s because you put it on so late in the season instead of in the winter or fall. I know I’d been looking for it since Super Bowl and with no word on when it might return until March? What’s up with that?!

The amazing race is one of my favorite shows. Season 29 is on to late. It needs to go back to 8:00.

Have been watching since day 1 and am looking forward to many more seasons! Put it in a better time slot 10 pm is way too late although I do DVR it to watch at a more convenient time.
I have been a fan of T.A.R. since the 1st episode. I don’t travel much because of health reasons, so my armchair travels with T.A.R. fulfills my wishes of seeing the world. Please don’t take that away from me. I know there are “Travel ” shows on t.v., but they only show the touristy side, your show gives us a view of the people, & the customs.
Our favorite. I do hope they return to ordinary people doing amazing things. (Phil should win the Emmy.) The best thing about the “Race” is that it is in the moment. No retakes. Everyone is being themselves. Action, excitement, adventure all around the world

Please don Cancel the amazing race. I have watched since season 1, and will continue for as long as I can. Cancel all the other crappy shows. Keep TAR
