TBS premieres Steve and Nancy Carell’s Angie Tribeca in January 2016. Billed as TBS’s first police procedural, satirical Angie Tribeca means to make you die of laughter.

Angie Tribeca stars Rashida Jones, Hayes MacArthur, Jere Burns, Deon Cole, and Andree Vermeulen. In the wake of its presentation at last week’s New York Comic Con, parent company Turner has issued a new press release. Read it and watch the teaser, below.

TBS is getting serious this winter with the launch of the network’s powerful new police drama Angie Tribeca. Following a screening of the show’s tension-filled first episode, stars Rashida Jones, Jere Burns and Andree Vermeulen were joined by executive producer Ira Ungerleider for a ruthless grilling by To Catch a Predator’s Chris Hansen. About Angie Tribeca

Real, brooding and shockingly alive, Angie Tribeca is the brainchild of Steve and Nancy Carell, who executive-produce the series through their Carousel Television.
