Sometimes you can’t beat walking the beat. FOX has cancelled Len Wiseman’s APB TV show after just one season.
A high-tech police drama, APB stars Justin Kirk as billionaire engineer Gideon Reeves, who takes charge of the troubled 13th District, after the murder of his friend. The FOX cast also includes: Natalie Martinez, Caitlin Stasey, Ernie Hudson, Taylor Handley, Tamberla Perry, and Nestor Serrano.
APB: A Look at the Ratings
The first season of APB averaged a 0.78 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.43 million viewers. While its total average audience size was respectable (when compared to the rest of FOX’s shows), the demo numbers were far too low for a freshman drama, hence the cancellation. Fox shouldn’t have canceled the show. Everything in today’s world is going high tech, they should bring back the series. Fox canceled way too soon.
I can’t believe they canceled APB, I really enjoyed watching it week to week. It was different from the other cop shows they had such as law and order SVU, Chicago PD, shades of blue, and other stuff like that. Wish they would bring it back.

If I recall correctly, this show was preempted and moved in its time slot, making it almost impossible to find. It takes at least two seasons for people to get attached to characters. Fox Entertainment made a big mistake!
