While no one was looking, NBC-Universal cable network E! Entertainment cancelled The Arrangement TV show after two seasons. Perhaps they’re hoping the news that there will be no third season of the drama, will slip by largely unnoticed in wake of today’s Roseanne cancellation by ABC. Either way, The Arrangement cancellation means the season two finale which aired on May 13th, episode 2.10: “Suite Revenge,” will serve as The Arrangement TV series finale.
An E! Entertainment love story, The Arrangement stars Josh Henderson, Christine Evangelista, Michael Vartan, Lexa Doig, Carra Patterson, Autum Reeser, Katharine Isabelle, Courtney Paige, and Jacob Artist. The drama follows struggling actress Megan Morrison (Evangelista) who enters into a relationship contract with superstar Kyle West (Henderson), a devotee of the Institute of the Higher Mind (IHM). When Kyle and Megan actually fall for each other, it complicates their relationship. Soon, secrets from their past threaten their love and their arrangement.
The Arrangement: A Look at the Ratings
The second season of The Arrangement averaged a 0.19 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 420,000 viewers. Compared to season one, it was down by 38% and 37%, respectively. Find out how The Arrangement stacks up against other scripted E! TV shows.
“Over two seasons, E!’s scripted series The Arrangement has taken viewers inside the world of an A-list movie star filled with secrets, scandal and romance,” a E! spokesperson said in a statement to Deadline. “While we have decided not to move forward with the series, we are incredibly grateful to the cast and our production partners.”
The Arrangement was one of two original scripted series on E! along with The Royals, whose fourth season aired alongside The Arrangement. The fate of that series, whose creator-showrunner Mark Schwahn was fired in December amid sexual harassment allegations, has not been decided.

The casting for the show is fantastic, the story line refreshingly original and a tantalizing insider look into the world (somewhat fictionalized) of Hollywood stars. I really enjoyed every episode of both seasons. Very disappointed to learn of cancellation. Why does it seem the intelligent shows get cancelled and we get left with non-scripted “reality” idiot shows !!! Why do we have to “dumb down” to the masses !?!? The rest of us are consumers and spend $$ too .
So I saw a preview for season (2) and l knew I needed to binge watch season (1). In which of Course I fell in love with it from eps 1 and watched the entire season in one couch session LOL. I just cannot believe seriously that all the good shows continually become canceled and are replaced by cheaper reality shows. Its truly sad but I guess from a business standpoint It’s better on the budget if they pay a reality star than a professional actor. The Arrangement is my favorite show. I was hooked after watching season one. The characters and story lines are terrific. I waited months for season two to take place. I looked forward to watching it each Sunday evening, once the second season began. I am almost certain that season one was scheduled on a different night. That may be why the viewership changed. I hope that The Arrangement will be back on television soon. I look forward to watching season three and any future seasons of this outstanding show.

the end of season 2 is a really bad end for the series, it leaves us with so many questions and it’s unfair.

Exactly, too often shows will get canceled and there truly is no closure. We get invested in the characters and the plot and at least if this series is going to be canceled give the viewers a proper sendoff with some sort of conclusion. It’s also not fair to the actors themselves being invested and they don’t get the proper goodbyes either . Still doesn’t make sense as to why they are not doing a 3rd season? First and second season were really good. And now they leave us with a cliffhanger….? I mean who does that? The arrangement was my favorite show of all. I’m really upset about not having a 3rd season to see how it goes down.
How sad that “The Arrangement” was canceled.. You should read the backlash on deadline.com and all the people upset over this show being canceled… Why do we pay for expensive TV networks just to have a show that people start watching and understanding the story line get canceled. The Arrangement is my favorite show. The fans that were hooked since the pilot episode deserve a season three. We need to have answers to the many story lines going on. We love the show . Please keep it going.

I just found this show ‘The Arrangement’ towards the end of season 2 and fell in love with all the characters and I can’t believe the show is just “OVER” –Sell it to another network because it’s a keeper. I don’t watch E! Network until this show. BIG MISTAKE!
