Netflix has renewed its Atypical TV show for a second season. While the first season — which just premiered on August 11th — consists of eight half-hour installments, Deadline reports the streamer has ordered 10 episodes of Atypical season two. Writer Robia Rashid created the Autism Spectrum Disorder comedy-drama and executive produces with director Seth Gordon.

Absolutely love it!!! Great cast and looking forward to season #2!!
I love this show my son has autism and we watch it together. It’s our bonding time. He loves it too I hope it comes back.
Love this show! I’m hooked. One of the best offerings on TV.
I love it just curious when season 2 is coming out. I love binge watching shows on Netflix.
All around fabulous. All family members are struggling and/or growing in different ways. It feels authentic. Good balance of drama and comedy.
I’m so thrilled that there will be a season 2! It’s a great show, and I binged on the 1st season, so I hope they don’t wait a whole year for more.
I really love the show. The more I watched, the more I fell in love with the characters, and all their individual life situations. I didn’t care for Jennifer’s character as the mother in the beginning. I am a mom with an adult child on the spectrum and I was pissed when she had the affair. I love it!!!!! I will watch it for sure!!!
Loved it!! Please have a season 2 !!
Really enjoyed Season 1. Not just focused on Sam’s autism & its impact on his family, but also a really good portrayal of the personal challenges each of Sam’s family members & friends face. Feels true.
Loved season 1 can’t wait for season two
Not surprised that others loved it too
Sam isn’t like my sin with ASD but, there are several nuances that are shared. I think the show is GREAT and it should definitely be renewed!
I loved watching season one! I’m so happy it was renewed for a 2nd season!
This was a no brainer renewal because it is just that great.
