Last season, the ratings for Blue Bloods rose when compared to the previous season. Will they continue to rise or will they fall. Will this CBS show be renewed for a sixth season or will it be cancelled instead? Stay tuned.
Blue Bloods revolves around the Irish-American Reagan family and their work as part of the NYPD. The cast includes Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Amy Carlson, Sami Gayle, Vanessa Ray, and Marisa Ramirez.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/11 update: Blue Bloods has been renewed for a sixth season on CBS.
Final season averages: 1.29 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 11.29 million total viewers.

Due to a Nielsen glitch, some of the early ratings of the 2014-15 season were revised a few weeks later.
For comparisons: The fourth season of Blue Bloods averaged a 1.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 11.52 million total viewers.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you still like the Blue Bloods TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a sixth season?
I love the show it’s like family and it also feels like your watching a real family cause sometime they don’t always get along but it’s a great show one of the bests shows out there please renew it
I just can’t get enough of Blue Blood. I love the show. I know at some time it will end and that will be a sad day for me. The cast is great. I love the family dinners. It is just a great show all around.
Absolutely the best show on TV. All the great values that make our country the greatest country in the world. I congratulate the writers.
One of the finest programs on TV
Please renew this show.
We talked about serious stuff at the dinner table….that’s life.
Wonderful program….please keep it on. ReNEW
They have covered political , church, bullying, teenage, gambling ,gay & abuse situations. They come together and have dinner with one another. Blue Bloods have you questioning what is right and come to a common ground and the cast is fantastic on getting the message thru. Beyond the family matters you see how law enforcement go beyond the call of duty along with the Mayor and Cheif of police. It’s one of the best shows on TV especially for Friday night. I will stay tuned until they decide.
This is The best show to watch on a Friday night! Good acting , descent show and I now have my dad addicted to this show! I watched it from the start and I would like to see it carry on for years to come.
What a fabulous program..well written, acted and directed.
the whole family enjoys this, young and old.
Please continue
Bluebloods was my favorite program. But it has turned into a predictable politically correct series. This was a great opportunity to show a group or family that held and stood for traditional American values too bad you couldn’t follow through with that one. Sadly, I am losing my for the series. Thank you
This is a fantastic program that our whole family enjoys, young and old, well written, well acted.
We get completely caught up in it and cannot believe when the hour is over.
Please keep this show on the air.
Absolutely the BEST
Yes, yes, a wonderful program.
Often get sensory overload from many overproduced shows…but this is well written, well acted, well directed
Admittedly, I’ve only watched parts of “Blue Bloods” + it conflicts with something else I prefer.
That said, I WON’T watch it for I find the commercials with Selleck sounding like Obama nauseating.
Apparently you’re referring to the few times he’s supposedly adressing a press conference over some issue regarding the NY Police Department that he’s comissioner of. How you even begin to hear this staunch Repo sound anything like the President can only be attributed to some deep dark Fox hole you must be immersed in where everything and anything that even begins to sound like the president is terrible….Because fox says it’s so….. You know who’d get the biggest laugh at your comment? Tom Sellek. He’s about staunch Repo as you can get….But then again he is old time repo, which… Read more »
this is one of the finest shows on TV.

LOVE THE SHOW; GREAT CAST;PLEASE DON;T TAKE IT OFF THE AIR. WATCH IT EVERY FRIDAY.NEVER MISS IT.CAN’T WAIT FOR IT TO COME BACK ON.ONE MORE THING SHOW;S LIKE THESE NEED TO STAY ON THE AIR.
I like hearing the dinner table conversation. It’s their table and not mine… No, I do not like work stories at the dinner table but here it works. I do agree that those 2 boys are almost stunted in their personal growth… Let them be real kids for a change.
What a fabulous program…love the cast.
My young daughter and her friends love it also
Numbers aren’t great now, but then again it’s political ads season so what do you expect?
As for a cop show this is one of the best. It has good writing and good acting by a really great cast. Frankly I’m kind of surprised it has survived since it more of a mature cop show that I think appeals to those middle aged and above. I hop0e it lasts a long time because it’s one of my favorits.
Me and hubby LOVE Blue Bloods, especially the dinner table scenes, something families don’t do much of anymore on a consistent basis. I enjoy their lively disputes and conversation. I disagree with Bob, it’s unrealistic to think that it would be a “light” con-versation considering all they deal with on a daily basis. They NEED to share that and get everyone in on it, show respect, and make their peace, even if they don’t always agree. I think the Reagan family does a great job of it, and they usually do end on a lighter note. I love Danny, he’s… Read more »
Yes, yes, but share after the meal, not during. In the past I have experienced heavy conversations during the meal and left the table without finishing. Not good to have your stomach tied in knots while eating. you condone this? I don’t think so.
Oh, and try not to bring your work home. There is a time and place but not at the dinner table.
Well, every family is different and this seems to work for the Reagans. They mix in other stuff too, don’t think it’s heavy-handed at all. To each their own I guess.
Well since you two have gone there. Everyone at the table sounds pretty smart including the teenage girl. Danny’s boys are younger, but they just don’t seem to be getting much smarter after 4 years or so. If I had one small fault with the show it’d be that the writers and directors don’t seem to be aging the kids intellects very much. When you hear stories about their dad and his brothers they were doing all kind of colorful cool things as kids. These kids seem to be a skip generation by comparison
the reason they converse at the dinner table is that is the plot hook that the writers can use to get them all in one place at the same time to talk abut the issue facing them in the rest of the show. It’s not real life, they don’t have to worry but knots in their stomachs. don’t try and make it relate to your real life, just see as a way to make the show flow from one scene to the next.
Good point. Now I am done.
Meant to say good point to you not to me. Am not used to this.
Still didn’t do it right. The good point was meant for you. That is a very good point. Oh, my stomach was never in knots, but I was at tables where others had theirs in knots. Hope I’m done now.
Still…………… the good point was meant for Thunderbeast. Now done.
It only works because the writers get you to hear and see some of the goings on from work stuff and from personal asides within the family. Who can’t like that?
But for real life, tension at the dinner table is a no-no. I just don’t like the tension
at the dinner table is all I’m saying. The message this sends is just wrong. Agree sometimes it’s unavoidable, but this show hi-lites it as the norm. It is not.
I am done now. No more from me.
Good show but too much Donnie. Way too much. He’s a good actor, but way too much.
Also talking about some very serious stuff at the Sunday dinner table is not a good idea.
Just do light stuff and enjoy the meals. Talk about the heavy stuff away from the dinner table. Who thought talking this kind of serious stuff at the dinner table is a good idea?
I would not enjoy a meal if this heavy stuff was the topic of conversation.
Yes,yes, yes Please RENEW Blue Bloods and while your at it here CBS please pick up the
Mickey Mouse ABC Network show,”Killer Women” that the cowardly mice at ABC were
stupid enough to cancel as well! Love Blue Bloods as well!
