Last season, the ratings for Blue Bloods rose when compared to the previous season. Will they continue to rise or will they fall. Will this CBS show be renewed for a sixth season or will it be cancelled instead? Stay tuned.
Blue Bloods revolves around the Irish-American Reagan family and their work as part of the NYPD. The cast includes Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Amy Carlson, Sami Gayle, Vanessa Ray, and Marisa Ramirez.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/11 update: Blue Bloods has been renewed for a sixth season on CBS.
Final season averages: 1.29 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 11.29 million total viewers.

Due to a Nielsen glitch, some of the early ratings of the 2014-15 season were revised a few weeks later.
For comparisons: The fourth season of Blue Bloods averaged a 1.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 11.52 million total viewers.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you still like the Blue Bloods TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a sixth season?
One of the finest programs on the air.
Have spoken with other who love this program and its fine cast, writers, directors and production team.
None of us have a problem with showing New York as it is, strippers, sleeze and all. That is just the way things are…and police would certainly be involved.
We will all continued to watch this great program
I have loved Bluebloods. Last night’s was disappointing. My impression is others felt similarly.
One of the best shows on TV.
It’s usually very well written.
Sleazy strippers in beginning of show ruined this show for me and 7 other people I know. Will never watch it again!!! Once again they trashed another show with sleazy unnecessary content! CANCEL the sleaze off our TV!!!
Completely disagree
Strippers and clubs are a part of New York.
REalistic that the police would not be involved.
Watch with our daughter and we all love this finely acted, warm, well written drama
Thank you for keeping this on the air
Bring back Danny’s sidekick Jacquie in Blue. Bloods she is the best and very much missed.
I am 70 and my husband is 84 and we watch reruns of the reruns of the reruns. It’s the best show on TV. DON’t EVER TAKE IT OFF!
I love blue bloods
I’m glad that cbs renewed blue Bloods.
I watch Blue Bloods every week on cbs
What is going to happen when
The new series comes out.
I don’t like the mean spirited sit coms. This show is refreshing.
Please renew I’m an old Tom select fan
YES! It should be renewed. I look forward to the show every Friday, and my brother is a retired LEO; and loves the show too.
Mind you, I’m a Canadian, and most folks won’t care what we think; but a LOT of us watch it on our Canadian Stations (depending on the Carrier we have for our internet, cell, wireless etc.
I’d be very sad to see it go.
Karel, We live in WA state, we watch and LOVE Heartland, also watch reruns of The Listener.
I’m hoping Heartland is renewed for NEW season. Do you watch either of these shows? We faithfully watch Blue Bloods; repeats, new, marathons, can’t wait for NEW season with The Reagans, hope there are MANY MORE.
Frank is not being disrespectful he is actually being very respectful to call someone by their last name is formal and a respectful way to address a person. Having worked for the government that is the appropriate way you address a person. love blue bloods
Please have Frank Reagan stop calling his secretary “Baker.” Ms. Baker or by her first name; “Baker” sounds disrespectful and that’s not Frank Reagan!
There is nothing wrong with him calling her that. It’s not disrespectful. It’s how the military does it as well.
I agree with Anonymous. Frank is not being disrespectful. There are MANY professions where people refer to others by their last name, rather than first. She calls him Commissioner, not Frank. There have been times he referred to her as Detective- they go more by titles and last names and nothing wrong with that. I watch Bones too, and even Brennan refers to her hubby as Booth, his llast name, not his first name Sealey,
I agree with the anonymous writer Frank is not being disrespectful. He is being formal and showing respect that is actually how you address a person having worked for the government myself I am glad he uses her last name as it is the correct way you address a person.I love blue bloods
I love this show. I even watch all the reruns. Please renew!!!!
love this show please renew
Great show, please renew.
