From award-winning creator, executive producer and writer Chuck Lorre, Bob ♥ Abishola is a love story and a comedic examination of immigrant life in America.
Bob (Gardell) owns a very successful compression sock factory in Detroit and runs the business with his mother, Dottie (Ebersole); his sister, Christina (Monroe); and his younger brother, Douglas (Jones). Stress from the job and his family lands middle-aged Bob in the hospital with a heart attack.
An immigrant from Nigeria, Abishola (Olowofoyeku) came to America with her young son, Dele (Wolf Jr.). The two live in a small apartment with her very protective relatives, Auntie Olu (Adewusi) and Uncle Tunde (Henley).
While he recovers from his heart attack, Bob meets and falls for Abishola, his kind and hard-working cardiac nurse. Undaunted by Abishola’s lack of initial interest or the vast differences in their backgrounds, Bob is determined to win Abishola’s heart.

Seven years from now, a lot has changed for Bob, Abishola and their friends and family as they reflect on how far they’ve come and consider what’s most important to them as they head into the future.

We love this show. Best new series. Need more of this show. Best thing since Modern Family…Big Bang…..Mom… We get excited every Monday. Cant wait to see how this love story plays out.
My friends and I all LOVE Bob Hearts Abishola. Love the cast, especially Abishola, Tunde, Olu and the girls at the hospital.
The only thing I would change, is Bob’s mustache…. don’t like it at all.
Please don’t cancel it… it’s so nice for those of us that don’t like all the cops, monsters and action stuff.
I love this show. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DON’T cancel it. It is such a beautiful break from the usual.

I love this show. I want Bob and Abishola to become a real couple. It is very good to see people from Africa assimilate into American life. However, I was very disappointed in the show on Monday, February 3rd. Abishola is disgusted by Bob’s disrespect for his mother and his lack of faith in her recovery. His mother is encouraged by Abishola and totally rejects Bob and his siblings for mishandling the family business during her absence. She has more faith in the better judgement of Abishola and other Africans. This makes Bob feel rejected and causes him to go… Read more »
I know what you mean about this episode–it’s a departure from what we’ve grown accustomed to in the series. However, I justified the episode like this; an opportunity for Mr Gardell to demonstrate another facet of his acting skills and I begrudgingly admit he had me cracking up. Guess in order for him to go rogue the writers had to come up with extraordinary circumstances. Abishola’s seemingly coldness towards Bob and allegiance towards his mother just didn’t fit! It is called being human. This type of attitude happens everyday. This episode shows that even true love can run into speedbumps.
I absolutely love this show. Its so funny and to a point very educational to how different cultures relate to each other. Please do not cancel this show.

Please do not cancel this show. I like to see something different besides cop shows, hospital shows, realty shows. How about something funny? This show is a breath of fresh air.
