What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Brooklyn Nine-Nine stars Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, Stephanie Beatriz, Chelsea Peretti, Joel McKinnon Miller, and Dirk Blocker. The sitcom follows Detective Jake Peralta (Samberg) and the rest of the unique detectives and officers at the NYPD’s 99th Precinct.
Season Five Ratings
The fifth season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine averaged a 0.74 rating in the 18-49 demographic and drawing an average audience of 1.76 million viewers. Compared to season four, that’s down by 14% in and down by 17%, respectively. Find out how Brooklyn Nine-Nine stacks up against other FOX TV shows.

Telly’s Take
The ratings have been no friend to this comedy over the past couple of seasons. Since the fifth season will leave it with a great sized syndication package, will FOX cancel or renew Brooklyn Nine-Nine for a sixth season? It’s still too early to use the ratings to predict that, so I’ll keep an eye on the Nielsens and update this page with breaking developments. Flying blind, I suspect this will be the final season for Brooklyn Nine-Nine or, that FOX will bring it back for one last season. Please renew 99, I’ve been watching since the first episode and this show consistently hits a home run. It’s the only show on TV ( okay as well as GOT) that I drop whatever I’m doing to ensure I’m in front of the TV when it starts. The openings are the best on TV, and for a show to be turning out such quality in its fifth season deserves to come back for a sixth.
It consistently makes me laugh. I can ALWAYS count on it for that. I can’t say the same thing about other shows that used to be pretty consistently funny (looking at you Family Guy, for a long time now) and even more the characters are so likable that they draw you into their little world. I’d love to see one more season, but if it ends this year with the wedding and on such a strong collection episodes I guess that’s ok. But a sixth season would be awesome.
Please renew Brooklyn nine nine. My sister and I love it and I really need to see Jake and Amy married.

I can’t believe anyone is even thinking about cancelling the show. For me personally, it’s the best sit com -with some action and romance- out there today. Good reviews, people either love it or like it, why cancel it? Has at least enough material for 3 seasons. At least.
The Simpsons are right to hate FOX. Bunch of dingwads.
