NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

Please put the show on Saturday night. There is literally nothing on TV. Since all the TV stations keep shuffling the shows around we never know where our shows are.

This show better come back on. I am soooo freakin’ tired of a good shows being cancelled. Have you ever thought of STOP switching the freakin’ nights and you would keep your viewers. Moving it to Wednesday nights was the dumbest move ever…competing against Criminal Minds on CBS!!!
Bring CHASE back and leave it ALONE!!! Lots of action, energy, excitement in this show….
I agree with you all, Chase is an awesome show and nbc keeps taking the good shows off and leaving the crappy ones. First trauma, now chase, I think both shows should definitely be brought back. Wednesday was a crappy night how bout sunday, or tuesday night. for once i really start to get into these shows and then they go an cancel them, this is why i don’t watch very many shows on nbc due to the fact they keep getting canceled. if trauma and chase could be brought back on the same day that would be sweet.
Please bring it back!
It seems that every time I really love and enjoy a show, it is cancelled. Take off some of the reruns that has become the norm. Leave off some of the Law & Order shows that are getting old to look at.
My husband and I just love this show give it a chance air it on Sunday’s Once you get into a good show NBC yanks it.

Please don’t take Chase off the air. My whole family enjoys the show. No one I know watches the game shows. We want Chase back on. Pick another night. I know it will do well.
This is not a bad show. Lots of energy and compelling episodes. I can’t say much for the mentality of an audience that prefers A Minute To Win It.

I really hope they don’t cancel this show. My husband and I love it. Anne takes a lot of chances and acts like a real tough marshall. Cole Hauser is a great matchup with her. Just like a big studio to cancel a great show and put on yet another stupid reality show. We have enough reality in our lives. How about a little action.
Once again this is why NBC is always last in the ratings game. They cancel everything that is good, they don’t give things a chance. The only thing that keeps them afloat is Football and football season is over for now. Chase is a well written and acted show, and they haven’t given it a chance. They are thinking of getting rid of parenthood too, another well acted and written show. Stay on the bottom NBC and soon no one will be watching.
Put the show on Sunday night there are NO SHOWS on Sunday by far the worst night for TV..Chase is much better than a game show

I think Chase should stay it is a very good show. I think Kelli Giddish is a very good actress, and she is playing her role very well. NBC is guilty of pissing to many shows away. Such as Trama, Friday Night Lights, Las Vegas, Crossing Jordan, etc. All these shows deserved better then what they got. Friday Night Lights should be on during football season.
