NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

I love Chase! Game shows are a dime a dozen. Find a time slot where it works and bring it back! I really like the dynamics of the cast and I thought the story lines were exciting. Come on NBC, just do it!
Great show….At first thought it was a bit corny…But…..Got better and better till we got hooked on it….Would love to see it return..
WTF? Like other people have said here…”Every show I like/love gets cancelled” Chase is an awesome show, and Annie Frost (Kelli Giddish) is HAWT!

I AM 61 YEARS OLD AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER CHOSEN TO WRITE IN REQUESTING FOR A TELEVISION SHOW TO REMAIN ON THE AIR. I HAVE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED HIS PROGRAM. I BELIEVE NBC DID LITTLE TO FIND AN APPROPRIATE TIME SLOT FOR THE TYPE OF SHOW AND TARGET AUDIENCE. I BELIEVE NBC FAILED IN PROMOTING ‘CHASE’ TO THE BEST OF IT’S ABILITY. I BELIEVE NBC SHOULD FIND THE RIGHT TIME SLOT FOR ‘CHASE’ AND KEEP IT ON THE AIR.
I love this show… These marshalls kick butt. PLEASE don’t cancel this one too!!!
It was the best show. I told every one I know. It should have been advertised more. Please bring it back.
I LOVE CHASE, you just picked the wrong night to air it, and moving it to Wednesdays didn’t help….At the very least, please air the remaining episodes!
This is so disappointing. We loved this show. You need to put it in a time slot where it will have a chance to survive. I watch many different police show during the week and Chase was my favorite.
It never fails, they get a good show you like to watch every week and they cancel it. We record it to watch later. Wed. night was not a good night to move it to. There is already too many game shows on t.v. Let us see the last episodes please.
Yes, I agree with the others, it was a great action show and all the acting was womderful. Enough of the game shows .. put it on a time slot that will win.. it is not fair to us that enjoy it to just cancel it.. and not fair to the actors. . plus it was great to see a woman in charge.
Please bring Chase back. We loved the show. This is one of the only shows that I look forward to watching. Pleasr bring Chase back.

I just recently discovered Chase and immediately started DVRing and HULUing it. Watched about 5 episodes in two nights. Then couldn’t find it on either anymore. So bummed. Really enjoyed it. Sooo much more entertaining than Minute to Lose it.
Doesn’t surprise me !! Seems like every show I like gets the big X. Please bring it back I really enjoyed the show if I wasn’t able to watch it I recorded it on the DVR and would watch it later. I liked the action packed excitement and Annie and the team all did a good job.
PLEASE at the very least show the remaining episodes! I HATE when a show gets cancelled and they don’t show what’s left. I don’t want the show to get cancelled at all, but if it’s already a done deal give us the courtesy of seeing the full season! They’ve already been filmed & edited & actors paid, so why wouldn’t you air them? I’m constantly amazed when I hear that dumb game shows and so-called reality shows beat out shows that have great acting & great storylines. It doesn’t say much for the American intellect, but that’s another discussion entirely.
I love this show!!! Please don’t cancel. Wednesday night is a heavy hitter on all 3 networks – please move Chase to another night and you will see the numbers go back up!
