NBC has decided to pre-empt Chase once again but this time it’s looking a lot more permanent. The network has put the TV series on hiatus and replaced it with episodes of Minute to Win It. Though the network has not officially cancelled Chase, there’s certainly no compelling reason for NBC to bring it back.
Back in September, Chase debuted to mediocre ratings and things went quickly downhill from there. On Monday nights, Chase averaged just a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic and a meager 5.44 million viewers. When the series moved to Wednesday nights for the new year, the ratings only got worse. It’s currently the lowest-rated scripted series on the network.
NBC pre-empted Chase this week and replaced it with a double dose of Minute to Win It. That move paid off with the game show literally doubling the demo performance of Chase’s last original episode. Not surprisingly, NBC has now bumped the remaining episodes of Chase from the schedule.
The peacock network had given the show a full season order back in October but by December had trimmed that back from 22 to 18 installments. There are currently five unaired episodes of Chase on the shelf and there’s no word from NBC on when or if they’ll ever be aired.

I thought it was such a good show, couldn’t wait for each episode. NOT a fan of game shows so you don’t get my vote for them. Loved that cast on Chase.
Please consider bringing it back. If something isn’t broke why would you fix it.
Do not cancel!!! Everyone in my household loves it and we always watch it! we all got sooo upset when we heard it was cancelled! Please don’t!!!!

Please. Ring back Chase!! It’s one of the best new shows on. I’m so tired of really getting into a show only to have it canceled! It makes me want to give up on TV entirely and just read.
I love this show. If NBC would stop moving shows around maybe they would get the ratings that they need. They need to move it to another night and not Wednesdays. They put it opposite the highest rating shows.
They did the same thing to Knight Rider too!

Please Please bring back Chase. The was one of the Best shows on TV. I believe that the show that you put in it’s place is the one that needs to be canceled. I would watch Chase every Monday when it was on and every Wednesday when it was changed and when I could not watch it live I would tape it, there is not a show I have missed.
Agreed with all the above, Chase is so awesome!! It is, hands down, one of my favorite shows!! I couldn’t wait for Season 2 to air!! Please do not cancel it!!
We LOVE chase!!!!! It’s my favorite show since they took Lost off the air. I think the day & times it was aired hurt the show. An 8:oo spot would rock!
This show was great! Don’t know why they started it on Monday night against so many other big shows. I thought the move to Wednesday was a good choice. It’s too bad that they might cancel such a good show, especially when they didn’t really give it a good chance to gain fans.
Me and my family watch this show every wed its on. Its amazing and the main girl is a badass we will all miss this show
I love this show. They should bring it back. Maybe a good night is Saturday. There is really never anything to watch then.
