What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the NBC television network, Chicago Justice stars Philip Winchester, Carl Weathers, Monica Barbaro, Joelle Carter, and Jon Seda. Telly’s Take
Although it premiered with positive ratings, the numbers for Chicago Justice have dropped — a lot. That said, the franchise has been quite successful and upcoming crossovers will give the newest program a lot of in-universe promotion, so renewal still seems more likely than cancellation. What do you think? Should Chicago Justice have been cancelled or renewed season two? How long did you expect this NBC TV show to last?
What a shame such a fine show has been cancelled..Dick Wolfe is a genius and Justice follows the other shows in quality of cast and scripts…The only reason I think is because of the Sunday night scheduling. I hope they reconsider the cancelling and move it to a different night. This show has all it takes to make for a show worth watching. I really am sick over this as the Chicago shows are close to perfect. The acting and writing are impeccable and a joy to watch week after week. I hope the powers that be reconsider…what can we… Read more »
It was a great show, I hate that it’s been cancelled.
More evidence that the “Strike Back” team needs to get the band (Philip Winchester & Sullivan Stapleton) back together especially with the surprisingly low ratings of Blindside where Philip Winchester currently resides (for now). While I LOVE Blindside and really liked Chicago Justice, they both pale in significance to the fabulous “Strike Back” series which I realize is being shot for at least one more Season but no one will do Section 20’s necessary deeds like Winchester and Stapleton.
Chicago Justice is one of the best crime drama shows; and I’ll be devastated if you cancel it!! I don’t believe there are any other shows that are about the trials of those convicted of their crimes; and that is the part I like!!! I just really love this show!!!
I would just like to know how you people write a TV show because I thought Chicago justice was a fantastic show and who do you pole I would love an answer on that
I love shows about crime drama especially about the team which will be trying the case. Give Chicago Justice a second chance to prove that it can do well–I know I’ll be very grateful!!!
This show is one of many of my favorite shows. Great time slot and characters. Don’t cancel this show. It needs many more seasons
I really like CJ. Barbaro’s character is questionable. Feels like a little girl playing dress up. Need someone more convincing and powerful in that role. Please give it a chance.
Don’t cancel! We love this show.
NBC just renewed Timeless, and Justice has better ratings than Timeless. I would think NBC is going to renew it eventually. NBC is having this delusion that they are having a great year. SOB is at a0.76, Blindspot will finish a little above a 1.00, Timeless did a 1.10 and Justice is at a 1.13. I don’t know if NBC should be happy about that, but they are.
I was honestly hoping this show would be more attention grabbing but it’s not. I know they tried to keep it better by bringing Dawson over but only certain episodes catch my attention. I honestly can’t say if it will be renewed or not.. I know it doesn’t do as good as other the Chicago shows
Please renew all Chicago shows including Chicago justice n Chicago med
Chicago Med, Fire, and PD were all renewed from the start. The only one that was in question was Justice and evidently they cancelled it. Which really is a huge blow to the Chicago series fans.
I love all the Chicago shows. I just wish they would air Chicago Justice a different night. We can only record two shows and we have two other favorite on at the same time
I love all the Chicago shows. I just wish they would put Chicago Justice on another night or time for we can only record two shows at a time and it runs the same time that two other shows that are favorite to are on.
I am a L&O junkie. I’ve seen every single episode of L&O and SVU. Chicago Justice couldn’t even hold a candle to L&O or SVU. My least favorite and weakest link on CJ is Monica Barbaro. Her acting kind of bland. She’s also not even eye candy. Is she a new comer? I’ve never seen her in anything else before.
I am having a hard time with this show. The actors dont mesh it feels awkward. They are flat and if the show continues they need to replace some especially the one with daddy issues. Loved him in other series but i cant watch him in this show. It is like watching a high school production of law and order.
I agree. I know Phillip Winchester is the star, but he does nothing for me at this point. I’m sure it will be renewed, but I can’t see myself watching it on a regular basis. I miss Sam Waterston and Law & Order. If Criminal Minds Beyond Borders gets cancelled. Alana De La Garza would be available again to reboot L&O, and I’m sure Linus Roache is available too.
