It’s goodbye for Too Close to Home. A spokesperson for TLC has confirmed to TVSeriesFinale the Tyler Perry series has been cancelled after two seasons.
The scripted drama follows a woman who relocates from Washington DC to her Alabama hometown after a major scandal. The cast includes Danielle Savre, Brock O’Hurn, Kelly Sullivan, Brad Benedict, Brooke Anne Smith, Alpha Trivette, Trisha Rae Stahl, Robert Craighead, Annie Thrash, Curran Walters, Ashley Love-Mills, Nick Ballard, Charles Justo, Christian Ochoa, and Justin Gabriel.
The cancellation comes as a little bit of a surprise. Unlike most series, the ratings for Too Close to Home increased during its second season. The season, which wrapped in February, averaged a .31 rating in the 18-49 demo and 1.084 million viewers. For comparison, season one averaged a .19 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 713,000 viewers.
TLC has not released a public statement as of reporting.

I am so disappointed too close to home has been cancelled! I love the show and have been waiting for its return! It is one of my favorites!! Hopefully another network will pick it up!!

Disappointed isn’t even close to what I’m feeling TLC for the cancellation of Too Close Too Home! Just because you seem to think the ratings aren’t up, just remember that some family’s have more than one person in the home, some have two family’s in one dwelling, and some have friends to come over as I do to watch because they can’t afford cable prices.
Too Close Too Home should of never been cancelled! Shame on YOU!
Totally disappointed by this my husband and i both got into this show! He actually asked me when did this air again? so i was looking it up snd seen this. I really dont watch tlc so guess i dont have a reason to turn to that station now! TP if u cant switch to different channel make Dvd dont leave us hanging
