Is there no justice? TNT has cancelled the Cold Justice TV show. Star and former crime scene investigator, Yolanda McClary, has confirmed the cancellation via her verified Facebook account. Cold Justice no longer shows up on TNT’s show list. It is also not listed under TNT properties on Tuner’s press website.
An unscripted procedural drama from Dick Wolf, Wolf Films, and Magical Elves Productions, Cold Justice featured McClary and former prosecutor Kelly Siegler, investigating unsolved murder cases.
Last July, Deadline reported TNT, Wolf Films, Magical Elves, Siegler, McClary, and Alan Brown were sued by an acquitted murder suspect featured on Cold Justice, for civil rights violations, negligence, and intentional torts. There is no word on why the show was cancelled.
In April a fan posted to McClary’s Facebook page, asking if Cold Justice was returning. McClary replied, “I’m afraid not. But, we had a good run and I’m so thankful for all the fans that I look at as friends in my life now. I feel blessed by you all.”
A week and a half later, another fan posed the same question (and asked after McClary’s dogs). McClary said, “The show was cancelled by TNT. The production company is trying to find a new network. My dogs are doing great! Sammy is 7 months old already and as big as a mini horse. Lol.”
In the comments of one of McClary’s posts, another fan asked when Cold Justice would be back. On May 2nd, McClary replied, “I’m sorry. I don’t have any answers on that. If it gets picked up and when they have a shoot schedule, I’m sure a post will go out. 👍”
The official Cold Justice show page on Facebook has not been updated since January 26, 2016.
What do you think? Are you a fan of the Cold Justice TV series? Was TNT right to cancel Cold Justice, or should it have been renewed for a fourth season?
One of the best shows EVER!! What in the world, people–bring it back!!!!
I am really disappointed to hear that Cold Justice is cancelled. It was one of the truly great programs that show real cases and how law enforcement can and do solve some old cold cases
This was my favorite show of the almost 200 I have set to record on my DVR. Please bring it back or get another network to carry it!
Noooo! I just started watching this in South Africa they are doing amazing life changing work!!
I really loved this show. I can’t believe it was cancelled. I always hated it when they were on hiatus and kept a watch for it to come back on. Please find another station to pick this show on.
Was looking for Cold Justice to come back! Loved the show and the investigators, they were real people solving crimes, with some humor as well. I hope someone else picks it up!
So disappointed TNT cancelled the show! Hands down one of the best shows out there. They truly care about the families that lost loved ones to violent crime and want to help get closure. Not cool TNT!
Really disappointed to hear this show was canceled.
Great show. I would love to see it return.
Kelly & Yolanda are the BEST investigators ever. This show needs to be back on TV now. This was the most decent & intelligent show on tv. Why is there so much stupid & raunchy CRAP on instead of this?
They finally have a good show on & then cancel it!! That sux!!
One by one TNT has cancelled all the shows we enjoyed watching. Only one left now: Major Crimes. If it weren’t for that we wouldn’t watch TNT at all. Cold Justice was fascinating and satisfying. A big loss for all involved.
Such crap. I really liked this show a lot more than any of the other **** shows they still have running. It wasn’t just the show-it was Yolanda with her quit wit and Kellys smart attitude. Really miss this one. This stinks. 🙁
Typical they take off a show that is real and the people involved really care they want some closure for the families but lets get another housewives from somewhere else that is just garbage.
I think they are just tv exes who dont think most normal human beings want to see more junk not real shows that about 2 great women who care about REAL justice .
I really liked “Cold Justice”!!! Please bring it back. It was so good to see some cases finally get justice!!
