It looks like the success of Criminal Minds couldn’t save another one of its spin-offs. Recently, we reported that CBS has cancelled Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders after two seasons. But would you have watched a third season of the TV series?
The crime procedural revolves around the International Division of the FBI which investigates crimes and rescues Americans in peril abroad. The cast includes Gary Sinise, Alana De La Garza, Daniel Henney, Tyler James Williams, and Annie Funke.
Ratings have always been a struggle for Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders. Season one averaged a decent 1.24 rating in the 18-49 demo and 6.92 million viewers, but the numbers have decreased significantly during season two.
Currently, the season is averaging a 0.84 rating in the 18-49 demo and only 4.99 million viewers. That’s a near 30% drop in both the demo and viewership. It seems that a good number of people either stopped watching or, watching the series became less of a priority.
What do you think? Would you have watched season three of the cancelled CBS series? Is this one gone too soon?
Myself,my wife, and friends watched this show and enjoyed every episode.we live in Coventry,England,it’s getting to the stage that new shows made available to us ,no matter what the hype on how good this may be,may be axed before its run of season or during.
Why doesn’t studious leave the seasons to run their tun, meaning give the show 3 to 4 season run, then make their decisions on whether their so-called rating system work.
We feel it’s sad this show has ended,we looked so forward to Season 3
The use of so much stock footage made this programme awful to watch. Ended up a bit like CSI: anywhere in the world
I guess expense kept it from actually going overseas… A show like Covert Affairs years ago actually took its crew to foreign locations for some of its episodes which in my view made it even better for a show that in its early years was mostly shot around Toronto.. CMBB just use the stock footage and sets to simulate those locations.. too bad…
Yes! Anything that seems to stimulate the brain doesn’t seem to last very long. UGH!
YES and YES!!!!!!!!
Of course I would watch Season 3 – it is a remarkable show with excellent cast giving us a glimpse of what is out there if you are travelling abroad – not that what it says and does is gospel; but the show puts on a great mind thinking experience.
I really loved that show I wish It would stay on but a different channel.
Loved this show. I would watch season 3.
I really thought this show was going to be on longer. THIS SHOW IS DIFFERENT THAN MOST. I love that Gary Sinise was in it with a family to care for.
Yes. I am devastated as this was a truly interesting global show where we saw different cultures and how their societies worked but actors were proven amazing actors.
Yes.It was a great show with characters who meshed well together.
Loved the show, can’t believe it leaving. Gary S. is amazing in anything he does and the other actors are awesome as well. So Sad!
I love this show very much so sad to see it going
more I love the original so much more than this one show filled with dumb clichés and stereotypes with over the top stories that have NO way of happening. Except for a few exceptions, the acting was really poor and the stories had a way of ridiculing the local customs and law enforcement!
Such a good show…sorry to see that it has been cancelled. I like it better than the original “Criminal Minds” series because it is not as gory. I had to quit watching the original…it was way too graphic for me. Gary Sinese is an awesome actor and was great in this show.
Yes, I like it more than the original!
Love this show don’t cancel it.
