The fat lady is finally warming up for the fine folks at the BAU. CBS has announced it has renewed the long-running Criminal Minds TV show for a 15th and final season. As of now the plan is for the final season to consist of just 10 episodes, which will cap the series off with an impressive total of 325. Variety reports they will shoot, “back to back” with the 14th season, which is currently in production.
A CBS law enforcement procedural, Criminal Minds stars Joe Mantegna, Paget Brewster, Matthew Gray Gubler, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Adam Rodriguez, Daniel Henney, and Aisha Tyler. The crime drama follows the FBI’s elite Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) out of Quantico, Virginia. The BAU remains dedicated to understanding predators’ motive and triggers, in order to stop them before they strike again.
Criminal Minds: A Look at the Ratings
The 14th season of Criminal Minds is averaging a 0.75 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.68 million viewers. Compared to season 13, that’s down by 24% and 18%, respectively. Find out how Criminal Minds stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.

The show has also not been without controversy during its run. Most recently, Variety exclusively reported that the show’s long-time director of photography, Greg St. Johns, had faced multiple accusations of abusive behavior and sexual harassment towards crew members. St. Johns has since left the production. Prior to that, series star Thomas Gibson was fired from the show after an on-set altercation with a producer.

Absolutely love Criminal Minds. Best show on CBS. Characters are great and the blend of characters now is awesome. I think the the show needs to be promoted more with perhaps 2 hour specials and ads to attract new viewers… and fans will be around forever, but gotta got new viewers addicted to the drama. CBS…don’t make a mistake and cancel…long running shows are difficult to find now….how about a real poll of the real public…please
Please do not cancel Criminal Minds. I love the show. I watch the new shows as well as the reruns on other channels on Monday, Tuesdays and Saturdays. I will keep watching for years. I really do not want this show to go away. I love the cast, their personal stories, as well as them catching creeps!!!! Please give renewing Criminal Minds another thought.

I love criminal minds CBS has a habit of taking away all the amazing shows. I still watch the current episodes as well as the older episodes. I think CBS would be making a big mistake, as it now I don’t like many shows that are aired of CBS now because they keep taking away all the good decent shows.
Oh my gosh please renew it past season 15 it is one of my top ultimate favorite shows to watch. I’ve been watching from the beginning. I absolutely love it and would be super sad to see it end. Please don’t take it off. I like it better than NCIS and Law and Order Special Victims both of which I am a big fan as well.

I do not want Criminal Minds to end. This show is one of the best on TV . I like all of the actors , especially the original cast.
Seriously??? If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. Huge, huge mistake to cancel the show in my opinion. Please please reconsider.
Criminal minds is the best show ever. It shows all of the worse criminal situations that really happen. Other tv shows are not as creative. No other show captures the evil humans in this world. I am tired of the same old shoot em up car chasing police shows.

I love Criminal Minds, and think CBS is making a big mistake by canceling one of the best shows on CBS. I have watched this show from the 1st show until now. I hope enough fans will write in to CBS to save the show from ending next year.
As much as I’ve loved the show, I’m not surprised. It just has not been the same without Hotch and Morgan. And I feel like the story lines have been weaker. Last weeks episode was boring. I will miss the cast though. I’ve love the original cast. And while the newbies have been good they have just lacked chemistry with the rest of the cast.
Criminal Minds are my absolute favorite to watch and I’m sad to hear it’s gonna end soon.

I love watching Criminal Minds. Recently I watched it from the very 1st season on Netflix. I enjoy the reruns too and always make sure to DVR the new episodes.
I never tire of criminal minds. It is the only series I will watch re runs for. My family network has discussed episodes at length. Would be very sad to see it end.
