TV show description:
From creator Chris Fedak, the Deception TV show centers on illusionist Cameron Black (Cutmore-Scott). With big shows in Vegas and New York, this magician is rocketing to the top, when scandal derails his show and his drive.
Unbeknownst to the world, Cameron has a twin brother, Jonathan (Cutmore-Scott), who is integral to both his magic and his life. Then one night, Jonathan is framed for murder. Soon, their secret is revealed, and Jonathan is convicted. Cameron is certain another illusionist is behind the crime.
With his career on hold and his mind overwhelmed by guilt and the desire to exonerate his brother, Cameron won’t even work with his team to develop a new act. One day though, while watching the news, he realizes that the FBI has been deceived by an illusionist, and whoever it was stole one of his signature moves. Now, Cameron is using his tradecraft to help the Feds apprehend some of the most elusive criminals in the world and hopes to prove his brother is an innocent man.

I am not a huge TV watcher because most shows are terrible. Deception was fun, smart and super entertaining. Also, the cast was very likable and believable. So sorry to see that this is being canceled. We need more show like this.
ABC would rather spoon feed us crappy shows. this one was great the cast was on point and it was fun to watch. instead we get stupid shows like the bachelor and bachelorette, and dancing with the stars, and stupid stuff like that. modern family is way over rated. and american idol is boring. for real stop canceling all the good shows. over 3 mil tuned in and how many dvr it? seriously ABC executives are dumb sometimes. big mistake ABC.
It was really interesting – you can’t say that about most shows. My family will really miss it – ABC – don’t make another Last Man Standing mistake!
This is the best series on TV right now. Please renew it! The writing is great.
Really ABC?! You cancelled Deception…that show is fantastic, it keeps you in suspense the whole hour. The storyline is great, the actors and actresses are brilliant My family and I love this show. Please bring it back!!! If ABC cancelled it, can some other network please pick it up?

This show should definitely see another season. It is well written and keeps you guessing the whole hour. The cast is very talented. More shows should be on television that make us viewers use our brains. SAVE IT!

Maybe ABC can bring back Deception at the 8:00 time slot since Roseanne is now cancelled. We can only hope and request it. That would be a much better time for this show since it is a family show. Please ABC bring back Deception to replace Roseanne. Please, please please!!!
so sorry cancelled…I’ve been left hanging trying to image what happens next. There are so many directions this show can go…and the way it ended left much to wonder about. Maybe Hulu/Netflix will pick it up
