Comedy Central doesn’t have many scripted series and the cable channel has now introduced a new one called Detroiters. How will this buddy series perform in the ratings? Will it be a hit and be renewed for a second season or, will the Detroiters TV show be a flop and be cancelled instead? Stay tuned.
A Comedy Central TV series, Detroiters revolves around Sam Duvet (Sam Richardson) and Tim Cramblin (Tim Robinson). They are two best friends and small-time ad men who are from different parts of Detroit. Whatever they do, Sam and Tim do it together. And, no matter what happens, Tim and Sam’s love for each other and Motor City never wavers.
3/20 update: Detroiters has been renewed for season two on Comedy Central. Details here.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Cable ratings are typically released within a day or so of the show’s airing, except for in the case of weekends and holidays.
What do you think? Do you like the Detroiters TV show? Do you think that it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
I must not know how to read Ratings. Nobody Watches except family members. More people watch Infomercials for Dry Skin… Literally.
Comedy Central is only keeping this around because they don’t want another high profile failure, and to make you say “you know, I guess Trevor Noah really isn’t that bad”. There was not a single laugh to be found. I don’t know a lot about the television business, but I have to question the thought process behind the guy who said “I love it! Let’s go with it!!”.
Hilarious show. CC has given multiple seasons to shows with a lot less heart & soul than Detroiters. Sam & Tim (and Chrissy!) need to come back for more!
it’s a BIG NO!!
Loved it ❤️❤️❤️
