“I wanna learn how to make movies.” This week, HBO released the official trailer for their upcoming TV show The Deuce.

From The Wire‘s David Simon and George Pelecanos, the drama “follows the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early 1970s through the mid-1980s, exploring the rough-and-tumble world at the pioneering moments of what would become the billion-dollar American sex industry.” The cast includes James Franco, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Emily Meade, Anwan Glover, Gary Carr, and Lawrence Gilliard Jr.

The Deuce premieres on HBO on September 10th.
