Showtime is sticking with Andrew Dice Clay. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has renewed Dice for a second season.
The semi-autobiographical comedy centers on the stand-up trying to make a comeback. The cast also includes Natasha Leggero, Lorraine Bracco, and Kevin Corrigan.
Season one of Dice received fairly low ratings during its six-episode run, earning an average of only .07 in the 18-49 demo and 191,000 viewers. Nevertheless, Showtime has announced season two of the comedy will return sometime in 2017.
What do you think? Have you seen Dice? Are you glad it’s been renewed?
Great-Great Show
Humorous glimpse into the life of a naturally funny guy. Love seeing his real-life sons in the episodes too! Great move on Showtime’s part to renew for a second season. Hopefully they’ll put some funds behind promoting the series. Best of luck Dice!
