TV show description:
A workplace comedy, the Disjointed TV show centers on Ruth (Bates), who has long agitated for the legalization of cannabis. After years of advocacy, Ruth is finally the proud proprietor of a Los Angeles-are marijuana dispensary.
Ruth’s son, Travis (Moten), has faith in his mother’s business plan. Still, where the future is concerned, this 20-something has even bigger plans.
Olivia (Alderfer) is one of Ruth’s budtenders. She is to a pot shop what a sommelier is to a fine-dining restaurant. Well acquainted with her product, this candid young woman has informed opinions about the varieties they offer.
Similarly, Pete (Baldwin) has a keen interest in developing new strains. He greatly respects Ruth and finds her inspiring.
Rounding out the budtending staff is Jenny (Ho). Since she’s a bit intense, she relies on their product to help her relax.
Finally, there is Carter (Bell). This military veteran recently joined the staff as a security guard. If this gang had an anthem, surely it would be Bob Dylan’s “Everybody Must Get Stoned.”
Series Finale:
Episode #20 — Main Street, USA
Biowave’s scheme takes Pete and Doug by surprise. Ruth searches for a way to help Walter. An unexpected visitor throws Jenny for a loop.
First aired: January 12, 2018.
What do you think? Do you like the Disjointed TV series? Should this TV show have been cancelled or renewed for a second season on Netflix?

The Mystery Guest
Tooo Funnny ! keep the show on !
Please do not cancel the show. Ten stars!!!
“Disjointed” is AWESOME and HYSTERICAL!!!! I have never laughed so hard in my life! This is by far my favorite show ever!!!
I agree. Best show ever! I laugh and laugh. I could watch it over and over and still laugh through the whole show.
Please don’t cancel disjointed.
TV needs more honest shows like this. It’s awesome, so enlightening.
I love this show. People need more honest shows like this.
I am now watching the fantabulous show disjointed w Kathy Bates …playing me!…for the forth time! I love this show & can strongly relate to Kathy Bates in it .I feel like I’m watching my life when I see her w her cool Hippie clothes! Kathy & Netflix, give us more MORE MORE MORE seasons & episodes!! Best show out there ANYWHERE!! Gotta Love Kathy as the wise Hippie, Shaman, Rabbi B-) !! I could also be your understudy lol!
I love this show.. Kathy Bates cracks me up and it’s nice to get to know new to me actors. The writers have found a way into this callused old heart with wit and charm.
I really enjoy the show and how it has been dealing with Carter’s PTSD he is adorable btw, keep up the great work LOVE IT!!
I love this show!! The laugh track is somewhat distracting, but the jokes are great- something for everyone. I watched this show with my mom, who is a boomer. We were both laughing but some jokes she thought were funny I didn’t get and vice versa. We both recommend watching while embibing, but it’s not necessary to enjoy the show! Keep it!!! It can only get better and better!
I have enjoyed this show, more than any other I’ve seen in the past. True, some characters are difficult to tolerate (hint, 2 stoners), but definitely very accurate in their character portrayal. Dispensaries all have different vibes, and Ruth’s is very likeable. I hope Netflix continues to bring light to a new and helpful subject to all. Every plot has been interesting to the point that I watched them all again, even unmedicated!
I agree with you I love this show unmediated that should keep the seasons going
Get rid of the laugh track!!!
If you take out some of the sex stuff and the f word you would have a really really good show. Besides the things I mentioned, you have a really great show here… but constant references to sex, etc. just ruins the fun!!!
I agree with you, Lisa. Every time I hear the “F” word, I cringe. I guess the writers thought it was necessary to keep the audiences attention, and there may be more Dabby & Dank’s out there than we know, fueling some of it. Too much of a good or bad thing can be, too much, also!
Yes, get rid if the laugh track. It detracts from the flow.
