ABC found their dream team. Variety reports that three actors have been cast for the network’s soccer comedy pilot, Dream Team.
Earlier, we reported that Marc Buckland is attached to direct the pilot.
Written by Kari Lizer and Bill Wrubel, Dream Team will follow a veteran club soccer coach who takes on a group of diverse eight year olds and their parents. Michael Mosley has been cast as Rick Johnson, a father trying to get his daughter on the best soccer team.
Lindsey Kraft will play Michaela, “a gentle soul” who is reluctant about the idea of her daughter participating in youth soccer. And finally, Michelle Buteau has been cast as Olga Diaz, a very competitive mother who will try anything to get her daughter a spot on the team.
What do you think? Would you watch Dream Team? Did you play youth soccer?
