It looks like the magic is over for the three ladies of Eastwick. ABC network has decided against ordering any additional episodes of the supernatural series, effectively cancelling it.
Eastwick revolves around three women (Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, and Jaime Ray Newman) who meet at a wishing fountain and become friends. Soonafter, mysterious Darryl Van Horne (Paul Gross) moves to town and unleashes powers within the ladies. The cast also includes Ashley Benson, Johann Urb, Jon Bernthal, Sara Rue, and Veronica Cartwright.
The show got off to a slow start on September 23rd with a 3.0 rating in the 18-49 demo and 8.5 million total viewers. The second installment fell to a 2.3 in the demo and 6.57 million viewers. The third week fell again to a 1.8 and 5.14 million.

In the weeks that followed, the ratings didn’t get any better and more frequently got worse. Last week, Eastwick hit an all-time low of 1.5 in the demo and 4.4 million.
ABC has opted to pull the show from the schedule for two weeks. This Wednesday, it’s replaced by the Country Music Awards. Next week, it’s being bumped for an interview special called In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: Janet Jackson. Though Eastwick is scheduled to return on Thanksgiving eve with a new episode, the supernatural drama won’t be around for long after that.
ABC has decided not to order any additional episodes of Eastwick, effectively cancelling the series after 13 episodes. It’s unknown if the last episode will wrap up the ongoing storylines. For now, ABC plans to air all six remaining installments but, if the ratings keep declining, the network could easily pull the series before that happens.

Getting really sick of the tv stations pulling actual “good” shows. I only watch a few shows and was so happy to see Eastwick. Something new and refreshing. They shouldn’t pull it. Great actors; great plot. Try actually giving more time for something to take off.

I’m from a little island call Barbados….. and I enjoy watching Eastwick every time it is air…. when every that maybe… anyway……. I was and still is despondent in the fact that it would not go on to season 2 …. but a girl can hope and look forward to a little magic in her life
I loved this show i would record it on my DVR and when i would get home from school i would watch it please dont cancel the show i loved this show and other people do to. i always looked forward to watch this show every week please dont cancel it

Best show on TV. Can’t believe ABC canceled this show. Very disappointed. Won’t be watching Ugly Betty. Where do they get these supposed “ratings” from anyway? No one is asking me what I like on TV. Who gets to decide?!! I really would like to know!
I am still in shock that ABC is canceling this show. I love this show, it’s the only show I try to stay up for, but it’s always hard because I have to wake up early everyday so I watch it online. ABC, if you bring it back I swear I’ll stay up to watch it. I am dying to know what’s going to happen. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE BRING THIS SHOW BACK. Don’t make me boycott ABC all together!
Eastwick was funny, suspensful and very entertaining. I looked forward to an hour of entertainment with the characters of Eastwick to take my mind off the stresses of the day. Yet again the network dangles a good entertaining show in front of us and then before the show has time to grow its cancelled. This is why I really don’t watch much tv anymore. I can’t stand the reality tv shows, (talk about boring and stupid) or the new remake of yet another show about doctors, attorneys or cops. Eastwick was a breath of fresh air. I always wait for Wednesday night to watch Eastwick. So tonight, i was ready to watch just to find out it is not on AGAIN! Maybe they should try to put it in another time slot??? People do love this show and it hads not been on that long I think more time is needed. I really hope it is back on next week and they change there minds about cancelling this show. I am soo disappointed I loved it.

This really bothers me. ABC is starts decent shows than places them in bad time slots and than cancels them. Leving us with stupid dance and dating shows. Their programming execs need to be canceled.

I LOVE EASTWICK!!! My daughter and I planned our Wed night based on that line up I am so very disappointed. I hope they rethink this and bring it back!
