It looks like the magic is over for the three ladies of Eastwick. ABC network has decided against ordering any additional episodes of the supernatural series, effectively cancelling it.
Eastwick revolves around three women (Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, and Jaime Ray Newman) who meet at a wishing fountain and become friends. Soonafter, mysterious Darryl Van Horne (Paul Gross) moves to town and unleashes powers within the ladies. The cast also includes Ashley Benson, Johann Urb, Jon Bernthal, Sara Rue, and Veronica Cartwright.
The show got off to a slow start on September 23rd with a 3.0 rating in the 18-49 demo and 8.5 million total viewers. The second installment fell to a 2.3 in the demo and 6.57 million viewers. The third week fell again to a 1.8 and 5.14 million.

In the weeks that followed, the ratings didn’t get any better and more frequently got worse. Last week, Eastwick hit an all-time low of 1.5 in the demo and 4.4 million.
ABC has opted to pull the show from the schedule for two weeks. This Wednesday, it’s replaced by the Country Music Awards. Next week, it’s being bumped for an interview special called In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts: Janet Jackson. Though Eastwick is scheduled to return on Thanksgiving eve with a new episode, the supernatural drama won’t be around for long after that.
ABC has decided not to order any additional episodes of Eastwick, effectively cancelling the series after 13 episodes. It’s unknown if the last episode will wrap up the ongoing storylines. For now, ABC plans to air all six remaining installments but, if the ratings keep declining, the network could easily pull the series before that happens.

uuggghhhh its the stupid people who like to watch reality shows about other peoples lives thats why the ones that are actually good get cancelled because there to busy watching reality tv
i totaly agree, reality shows are taking over and leaving no room left for decent programmes like this, reality programmes are the biggest load of crap and its about time people woke up to what they do, they are only there to get money out of you, get rid of them and bring back the proper stuff like eastwick

Im totaly gutted, just found “Eastwick” on bt vision and Im hooked, but Iv now found out that thats it, it cant be, whos the boy, why isnt Jamie dead, they cant leave it like that, please make a series 2.
dam straight !! im in the UK and it beats the crap that appears on our tv out here and it sucks that the people at ABC think about money before they think about what the people who actually like it want . . . at the very least put the rest of the episodes on the internet so people can actually watch them and get their final fix !
Hey, i similarly am in the UK and watched the whole series GRR:@ rage that there wont b nemore:O it was acc quite good and so much left on answered plus i wanted to see what happend between roxie and darryl i love them together and loved the character of darryl he is a legend they seriously need to bring it back…
eastwick was my best. why does making money comes before things that are good and help people? corporate organisations should also see the beauty in things like eastwick …. i cry for my eastwick ..you have ruined something good.
residing in the Uk , sorry to say we have so many crap shows and eastwick is a show that makes your day. Any idea where I can get the complete series. Also am a fan of supernatural ! what’s new on that show after lucifer was rising?

“Gates” will not be on my TV tonight either. I agree the vampire shows we have are good enough. Bring back the witches people!!
I will NOT be watching “Gates”! Eastwick was the one I liked and since this web campaign did’t convince the powers that be to bring it back I’ll find something else. Like we don’t have enough vampires out there anyway.
Oh No, I am in the Uk and we have only just got the show on demand TV. Watched the whole series in a week (had to go to work unfortunately!) Am really disappointed that there wont be more of Eastwick. Like one of the comments earlier I am getting really tired of finding a show worth watching to have it cancelled after a series. Please bring it back!
They have to make a season two, they cant leave it unended… its wrong!!! Eastwick is my favourite show….please dont cancel it
